Picture of The Incident

Sunderland star Colin Healy was left with a suspected broken ankle following Monday's 1-1 draw at Highfield Road.

If you saw by Youssef Safri from Coventry it will leave you in absolute shock.

The Guy was the same one that was at Celtic and I do believe had a few games for the Ireland under 21's??

Hope He Plays Football One Day Again.

Bone isn't suppose to bend that way. Hopefully Healy can play again in the future, but from the looks of that picture, he is going to be out for a long time after surgery and likely will face a long rehab just to be able to walk again.

*I though stress fracture was bad, and I've just starting runner lightly 1-2 miles a day for that after 6 weeks of being off of it (no running). Normally, I run 70 miles a week for college. So I can't imagine what Healy is going to do once he starts rehab, because it is going to be a slow process, and once a bone breaks, it is more likely to break again, even if fully healed.

Though my break was never as drastic as that, I have a good idea of what he's going through. He'll be lucky if he'll ever be able to walk properly again, never mind kick a ball.

Feel sorry for the guy, just one of those 'wrong place wrong time' moments... :(

No, man, this break makes larsson's look like nothing.
