I like to manage some top players, although i like to beat some world class teams aswell. Especially Man United, they're so overrated in CM. Cristiano Ronaldo is a pain in the ass.

When they sign Anelka, you know you're in for a nightmare when you're playing against them. Now you put Ruud, Cristiano and Anelka in the same team and that's hell for you.

Rooney for England is a lord! I play 3 up front: Rooney - Owen - Ellington (he is a great player!) and we get bags of goals. I think in the World Cup Qualifiers (10 matches), Wayne scored 7, Michael 11, Nathan 6 (and also Gerrard chipped in with 3 or 4 long-range belters)

Anelka with Man Utd is just plain annoying. On mine, they also have Djibril Cissé (i canceled the future signing and got Todorov instead) and this wreaks more haoc. I got the better of them tho: (and also attached: for some reasons I have been thrashing Arsenal recently )

Incidentally they also have Kieron Dyer (£12.25M), Sylvain Wiltord (£3M) and Robert Pires (£6M) as attackers, and they got Olof Mellberg (£5.5M) and Zacchardo (£8.5M) as defenders. I find that Man Utd always sign Zacchardo, don't play him, then release his on a free about 4 years later

I always have a hard time against these clubs. Arsenal are in my CL group with HSV, i got a 3-3 draw at Ashburton Grove. Although all their 3 goals were due to bad defending and goalkeeping. In the other hand the 3 goals i scored were beauties.

Aye, Baros is a big match player. As are Owen, Le Tallec, Todorov, Kewell . . .

BTW the goal Riise scored was a cracking free kick from 40 yards, he's bloody fantastic at set pieces in CM0304

Baros was very good for me But I can't see how you get Pongolle, Owen, Kewell and Riise playing good. They were all sooo crap for me. Owen and Kewell getting a 7 always, but didn't score goals/make assists. Riise was terrible, getting a 6 as maximum. For me the Liverpool team is pretty bad overall always . On CM4 Riise was awesome though.

One of my best players and my top scorer of the season so far. I use Dave's schedule, but i tweaked it for my team and made some changes in the routines and stuff.

Riise is great as an attacking full-back, I can't see how you can't get him playing well! Kewell I find plays well cutting in from the wings. To play Owen/Sinama you need the right tactics as they aren't tall - play deep, launch counters and play short passing.

BTW does anyone retrain sides? I have retrained a few people to be a bit more adaptable, for example Diego, Le Tallec and Welsh on mine are all RLC.

Why are Bayern after all the Liverpool players?

My strangely good run against the Arse continues: the top one is Champions League, 2nd round, 1st leg, the second is FA Cup fourth round. I have 2nd leg against them soon, may field a youth team

EDIT: the second leg was 1-1, Andy Griffin for Arsenal on the 4th minute, Todorov for me on the 60th minute.
