Hey I recently got CM4 from Feral... I haven't got into a full blown season yet as I'm still playing one on an older version (00/01) I will say that CM4 runs noticeably slower but it will depend on your processor speed. I'm running on a G4 with a 400mhz processor with a 60GB HD. I've got plenty of room for data but the procesor needs an upgrade. You can switch off the background pictures, use minimum database and turn off the 2D match engine if things get too slow. Otherwise it looks cool! I'll be starting a season ASAP. Anybody found some good skin sites? I used to create menubars when I had time but now the graphic interface involves more files than just one menubar.

Oh yeah I'm running OS 9.2.2 with 340 megs of RAM which should be plenty. I don't think the OS will matter as much, minimum requirement is 9.1 so you should be fine. I think the processor speed is key. I may get a processor upgrade to 800 Mhz which would be good for Ghost Recon and other games... they're going for around $250-$275 which isn't bad. Beats investing in a new CPU!

May i say that putting skins/graphics into the game slows it down even more. But i think that has something more to do with home much ram you have
