CM4 04/05 or CM5

Sry for going a little to far into the future but i was just curious...is there going to be one? Cause i've tried the demo and there are still areas where SI can improve on.

Yes, there will definitely be a CM5. Developed by Eidos, and nothing to do with earlier CM versions.

SI have said they were not going to stop making great games, and it's highly likely (estimate at 99%) they'll continue the series (though under a different name).

eidos will try and make as much as they can through the brand name....... but realistically they are making a game from scratch

most people who post on these forums know quite a lotf about CM, hence why they post here. They will stick with SI while people who dont really 'know' CM will buy the Eidos one and be disapointed.

nah we'll have to create two forums, keep this as the CM forum and create a new one for whatever SI call it.

I think this one should be renamed, and a new one created for the Eidos CM. Although it might be a bit confusing.

thats what i mean, you may aswell keep this as the old one and make a fresh start (as SI are doing!) and launch it with a new forum.

Yes, but the background to that game would still be all games in this forum, which would be supplemented with a game that has just sprouted.

I believe that the game that will look more like the REAL CM should be talked in here (and if needed to rename this forum) and create a new one for the other game

Yeah...I think that the SI Game, under whatever name, should be discussed in this forum, purely because all of the current threads are based on that game...The forum would be renamed to the new games name...

Then a new Championship Manager forum would be opened for Eidos's game...Which I cant see comparing to the REAL thing

Eidos is going to go for a TCM kind of game, I think, better sales predictions in their eyes. Too bad they're blind
