    hi ...

at last, i found this place to share my joy ... i had only played this game for a few months ... i had played with Leeds, Inter, Peterborough (2nd Div), §çüñ†horpe (3rd Div) and had come up with some good partnerships and teams, here goes :

    Leeds:
GK:Tim Howard (get him over because he can't get first team at Man Utd. as Fabien Barthez stay and they like him)

    DR:Danny Mills/Gary Kelly
    DL:Harte/Lizarazu/O'Brien
    DC:Rio Ferdinand
    DC:Woodgate

    MR:Joaquin/Bakke/van der Mayde
    ML:Kewell/Kily Gonzalez/Wilcox
    MC:James Milner/Bresciano/Lee Bowyer/Nakata
    MC:Nicky Butt/Jody Morris

    FR:Alan Smith/Adriano
FL:Dado Prso/Lee Miller(from Bristol City) - Viduka has some personal problems so i long-rested him

    Inter:
get Massimiliano Vieri (Max Vieri), Christian's little borther ... he made the best partner for Christian so far, to me .... but you have to get him from Napoli and Juventus as he is co-owned by them ...

    FR:Cristian Vieri
    FL:Max Vieri

    Peterborough:
i was appointed as manager to the club after being sacked as Leeds manager (the squad i gave earlier is built-up by another "me" after "i"was sacked) ...

GK:Luke Steele (got him back from Man Utd. as they don't need him)

DR:Cristopher Kanu (i was extremely excited when he was called up to Nigerian squad for the first time)
DL:Rory Hutton (Irish U-21 squad regular)/Graeme Le Saux
    DC:Bradley Thomas (Jamaica squad regular)
DC:Robert Evans (impressive younster, should be available by 2004)

MR:Chris Hackett (one of the best player from Oxford Utd.)
ML:Mbark Bousaffa (from Chelsea Reserve)/Richard Evans/Samir Aliev (from Volyn)
MC:Curtis Woodhouse/Mauro Silva (free after released by SuperDepor)
MC:Danny Guthrie (Liverpool younster)/Rok Elsner (Nice younster/in Slovenian U-21 after joining Posh)/Kevin Betsy (from Barsley)

    1st combintion:
FR:Orri Freyr Oskarsson (he play better in front than mid-field)
FL:Leon McKenzie/Mark Bentley (top scorer from Dag&Red)/Porsteinsson (an Icelandic youngster get from a free transfer)

    2nd combination:
    FR:Mark Bentley
FL:Steven Gillespie (got the Liverpool youngster from Barnsley)

    3rd combination:
    FR:Porhalsson (also from Barnsley)
    FL:Porsteinsson

    §çüñ†horpe:
    GK:Chico (young Brazilian from Vasco)

DR:Stephen Clegg (great defender from Stalybridge)
    DL:Vinnicombe (from Wycombe)/Kevin Sharp
    DC:Barthe (from Saint-Etienne)/Russell Penn
    DC:Daniel Niccolini (from Fiorentina)

MR:Beresford (from Tranmere)/Andy Watson (Tamworth winger from Nuneaton Borough)
    ML:Jamie Cook (from Stevenage)
    MC:Robert Purdey (from Hereford)
    MC:Richard Kell

1st combination (original when i take over):
    FR:Lee Morris (from Norwich City)
    FL:Darren Keeling (from Telford)

    2nd combination:
FR:Lee Mills (from Telford), Rungratsamee (extreme young striker from Portsmouth reserve)
    FL:Darren Keeling

    Best combination:
    FR:Supat Rungratsamee
    FL:Teeratep Winothai (from Crystal Palace)
*both the Thais are in U-21 squad now, unfortunately they can't score due to the overall quality of the squad, this combination recommended for those who love to use Asian players ...

    other cheap and good deals:
    Jake Attwood (St. Albans)
    Bradly Wright-Phillips (Man City)
    Brian Wake (Carlisle)
    Scott Gray (Free)
    Joe Scott (free)
    * they may not be as good, but at least they worked out and became key player for the "conference" Macclesfield ...

That's all for now, thanks for viewing this thread ... :)

good question, as we all know, Leeds (sadly, they were relegated, unless they win 8-0 for the remaning matches and City lost 9-0 for their remaining matches, which is absolutely impossible) has serious financial problem ... it should be almost impossible to get those world class players ... unless you ...

yea, i admit, i cheated, just to get back most of the former Leeds player like Rio Ferdinand, Jonathan Woodgate, Lee Bowyer, Harry Kewell ... but did it only once and i feel guilty about it, i did this after being sack and take over it by adding another manager ... believe me, the other teams are fair game, thanks for viewing anyway ... :)

    You don't wanna know ...
    On CM00/01 I've got a formidable back-line.

Try getting past Nikos Dabizas and Alpay.

I've played with 3 teams on CM03/04, Milan, Rushden and Millwall.
So here it goes, by best sides:
    Milan
    GK: Abbiatti
    DL: Zonneveld
    DR: Johnson
    DLC: McEveley
    DRC: Woodgate
    ML: Van Der Vaart
    MR: Joaquin
    DMC: Gerrard
    MC: Aimar
    FC: Robben
    FC: Toledo
(I didnt cheat, i'm at 2008/2009, still to play a game though, Millwall is getting entertaining)

    Rushden
    GK: Turley
    DL: Underwood
    DR: Bignot
    DC: Mark Phillips (from Millwall)
    DC: Edwards
    ML: Jack
    MR: Hall
    MC: Burgess
    DMC: Ben Bowditch
    FC: Porrhallson
    FC: Makofo

    And finally Millwall:
    GK: Warner
    DR: Lawrence
    DL: Bull
    DC: Jean Dika
DC: Mark Phillips (until Dolan comes back from injury)
    ML: Partridge (loan from Liverpool)
MR: Babangina (Haruna, the Barça one, also on loan)
MC: Ifill (i'm waiting for Toledo to get a WP)
    DMC: Livermore
    FC: Bellion (loan)
    FC: Roberto Pasca

The best partnership i've ever had must be Sheva and Kaka, they scored almost 100 goals between them in my first season at Milan.

    Any f*cking place you're not
Or could it be because Henry would be about 30+ by the time Carlier is 20-21?

Oh and, Pazzini-Tsigalko is also very deadly.

Then why didnt you buy the extremely good players like Becks, instead of only buying good players.
