CM 10 problem

Okay now i have another problem. I install 1. Bundesliga Patch by Kahn-Titan in CM (all files from .cmp file), then i use FIFA 10 FAT Rebuilder (by Apollox i think) and after this my FIFA don't start, there shows standard windows msg (send, dont send etc.). I have this same problem when I install more than 360 files in zdata 61 (there i install faces). Where is the problem? Is FIFA really have so low limit or its something other? Please help me, its important

Two things:
1) Run the Tools\Clean FAT, this will remove unused files from your FIFA leaving more room for your editing
2) Change periodically the specific zdata you are using to import files so its size doesn't grow beyond 120-130 MB

This is because the patch has been created starting from my language database(ita.db). Workaround: make a backup (or get a copy form the CD) of your language database, install the patch and restore your language.

If the program starts but you cannot edit/open the FIFA 10 files, it is a problem of incorrect installation or maybe some files of FIFA 10 are corrupted.

Is there anyway that you can enable for users the possibility to have the patches set to "use patch ID" for all new to-be-imported features? Just like how you managed for the Winter Roster Update.

Yes, write something in the CMS value (e.g. "10")

Hi Rinaldo, sorry to bother you again. I installed your winter rosters update and some stadiums but when I want to play with the edited teams or stadiums the names don't appear.

Posting this here so that you can see this very important problem Rinaldo.

EDIT: I found a solution that works, for me at least. Just simply use the "Remove all Full Names" tool in CM10 and save the dbs.

FIFA 10 has a limited (though unknown) room for names depending from language, adding more and more stuffs FIFA will not show them properly also if the name is present i the database. removing the long names you get more room for the other stuffs. Long names are used sometime in FIFA 10 but not often (eg Friendly matches or newspapers) so the damage is acceptable.

Rinaldo, I am trying installing your cmp with roster update.
I dont want that the update overide my teams settings (like names,stadiums ...) so i unselect the "database team info" checkbox.

But doing this your update is not installed. Checking the "linked players" shouldn´t be engouh?
I remember having this problem in the past when importing some graphics i always need to select "database team info" option.

Rosters are definitely in the database, unchecking the "Database team info" prevents from loading any data about a team in the database including the teamplayerlinks table. I didn't think to an option as the one you are asking for (maybe in a future version I can add it). The workaround is to edit the fifa.xml file of the patch and remove any entry about table "teams" and "teamwrite"... if you want to try....

Rinaldo, thanks for the winter update in CMP. Just wanna let you know about a bug in SM10. I managed to install many chants. All of them in root folder. They worked perfectly. However, out of the sudden, the songs became corrupted and there commentary is not working anymore. Any ideas about how to fix this ?

Strange... songs and commentary do not have any relationship in SM10. I hope you had a backup of your work as I don't think you can recover a corrupted audio file.

When I create a team in CM it gets less stars ingame then in CM. How, why and can I correct it?

Stars computed in CM10 are just an estimation of what they shuld be in game, maybe the formula is not correct but it is the best we have.

thanks for ur cmp roster and formotion patch for Fifa 10. Great work! only a problem: by inserting this cmp all english names for teams are changed to italian ones...Moreover, National team names are deleted and all national teams have blank incompleted data... this happened to both my PCs. It has to do that u work on italian database and this makes problems to the other languages...thanks anyway, good work!

I understand the problem with Italian names but not why the National Teams are empty ... what do you mean exactly ? Can you post a picture.

rinaldo, i tried to import those original files to gui.big in FM10 but it's not working. it's said that the access denied. and what i need is the original files for the substitution pop-up. not the stats,formation,goalscorer and fixtures. so can you post the substitu file and assist me to import it? thx mate. looking forward for your help

I had the exact same problem with SM09. The workaround I've found was never use the menu save option after installing chants.

Simply exiting SM09 and answering "yes" when it ask if you want to save was the only way I've found to not damage the commentary. And worked 100% of times as far as I can remember.

Maybe the workaround for SM10 could be the same...

Copy the gui.big file from the DVD and replace the same file in FIFA 10/data/gui folder, then delete the FIFA 10/data/gui/popups folder (if any)
