I have a question regarding realism tournament results... Is there a way to prevent the european cups from 'strange teams'? It is not that necessary, but I find it kind of strange that my Champions league during following seasons always contain 'lower clubs' from high leagues. Like for England Aston Villa, West Ham, Man.City and Arsenal instead of Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool. I already upgraded the better teams with CM10 a little, but that does not seem to solve the issue.
PS: Also I noticed unrealistic scores, like Hapoel Haifa-FC Barcelona 5-0 and so... But I think there's nothing to do about that....[/QUOTE]

Another problem,is with MM10.
I edit the new manager file(which works on orginal DB),and the MM crashes.
I even tried to open the file and save it without any change,but still it crashed.

Why this hapennes?

Where did you get from the .hdr and .dat files - be aware that since FIFA 09 the format is changed and should be converted before to import them (there is a tool in the menu). You can find more in this page

About MM10 crash, I have no clues. I should see your fifa.db and the manager file.

Definetely ... we cannot do anything to improve the FIFA simulator. There is a statistical theory describing the goals scored in a game but I am pretty sure that the guys at EA completely ignore it.

Hy Rinaldo, I have a problem. I created .cmp patch in my FIFA 10, and I imported it agin after some time. When I go to the Rest of world (in those league I imported it), and when I want to select that team, my game crashes. I tried on another computer, and everything works fine. Is it possibly that CM is responsible for this? I think it's because I reinstalled my FIFA many times, and I never installed CM agin. Thanks :)

Maybe you didn't import that team's formation together,and that team has a special formation.

Hello,Rinaldo.I have a question to ask you.I have imported 10 leagues to my FIFA10 and I have romoved all long team names,but there is also some countries' names missing,like "$35000095 not found".Do I import too many teams?Is there other resolution?It seems that FIFA08 and FIFA09 don't have this problem.Thanks!:)

I don't think it is a matter of reinstalling FIFA or CM. Probably the problem stays in how the patch has been created or in the way it is imported.

Check the language database with DbMaster if the entry $35000095 USA is present or not. If not you can add it, if yes you have probably reached the maximum size allowed by FIFA 10 for the language dependent strings.

I want to know a thing. There is some trouble in manager mode if I change the européan competitons with more club. The trouble is in 'board expectations'' because some country have not the same number of club qualified for C1 or C3 than in the original game.
So how can I edit the board expectation (or the number of club qualified for europa cup by country), please?

But it all works well on another computer, with same patch, same import process.

Cheers Rinaldo, as always, a huge task you are developing here with your Fifa Master series, thanks for all mate!

I have a question, i was trying to import one of the cms complaint leagues you´ve been releasing at fifa master web site, when i tried to import the liga argentina the patch says: In order to properly install the patch i should:

1) Install the CMS_Jersey_Fonts.cmp patch (it is distributed with the CM10 package)
2) Install the CMS_Boots.cmp patch (this is also included in the CM10 package)

but the problem is that i can´t find those files in the creation master folders (i´m using CM 10 BETA 4)

ps. So far most of the boots for the players in that league appear in green and red.

The same problem is present also in previous versions of FIFA. In FIFA 10 is more evident because more strings have been added (e.g. Scoreboad Teams) the solution is not a clean solution but just a compromise: remove all the long names from the language database (there is a tool in CM 10 for this) and then add back only the names for the team you normally use in your career so you do not see missed string message.

In order to have more clubs qualified for the european cups you need to edit the structure of the tournaments. If you edit them properly you will have no problems in Manager Mode. About the expectation board I guess you are correct, maybe this could be the cause of crash but, at he moment, I have not a solution. If you understand more please share with us.

A blue screen sounds like a problem with DirectX. Anyway, go to my site and you can find an article about "what you need for running Fifa Master tools"
