Rinaldo, another question. I think I should ask in CM09 thread but maybe it is related to MM09 too, I don't know.
Why is that some times (or actually most of the time), when I play Malaysia FA cup, usually in 1/4 finals round, I may ended losing the match eventhough by agregat I win. I try so many solution including editing save file using IM09, but still I will lose to opponent. For example, team A (my team) vs Team B. 1st round in QtrFinal, I win 2-0. Second round, team b vs team A, I win 0-1, still after the game in career mode, team A will be announced defeated. Clearly team A wins but it is team B the one that goes to semi-final. BTW, yes away goal rules where check in tournament (CM09).
Can we use MM09 to edit the tournament structure and winning or losing points.
At the same time, I suspect, it has to do with teamID (and playerID) allocation. or maybe tournamentID?
Do we need to put CUP tournament within 200-250 or how? I see that most cups are within that range.
Hopes for your another advise on these matters. if only I can contact you directly with long explanation and question about the matters.
Rinaldo, First thank you for you response about the matter above in MM09 thread.
I'd like to share with you and others about the outcome of my experiment recently.
I have change all my tournament ID and League ID for all Malaysia (which makes my patch no longer CMS compliance it terms of tournament and league ID) to number less than 100.
No my tournament ID are between 40-46 and I try two set of tournament for this experiment (or testing which is more appropriate).
Test 1 - I follow closely English League calendar, of course change a few that necessary and ignoring play-off since we don't have the playoff.
Test 2 - I follow closely France tournament calendar, with a few adjustment as needed.
Both test suggest I no longer have problem with 'losing-while-winning in agregate' situation like above.
However, still I have problem with Piala Sumbangsih (similar to English FA Community Shield Cup). If my Team sabah fa from MPL (2nd tier league) win in FA Cup final, no problem to the statistic. It just list my achievement in leagues table, Piala FA and Piala Malaysia. but if my team sabah FA lose in the final FA Cup, suddenly out of nowhere, a result or statistic of Sumbangsih Cup appears in statistic windows in addition to the above statistics. Actually the same thing happen previously as well regardless of winning or losing in Malaysia TM Piala FA (similar to English FA Cup) but now since I change the tournament ID and the calendar /fixtures, it only happens if i lose in FA Cup final.
FYI, here is a summary of the tournament
TM Piala Sumbangsih (TnID 46) - 22/07/08 - 14/08/08
TM Liga Super (TnID 40) - 8/08/08 - 14/05/09
TM Liga Premier (TnID 41) - 22/07/08 - 28/05/09
Malaysia FA of States (TnID42) - 22/07/08 - 28/05/09 - hidden leagues
Malaysia FC Group (TnID 43) - 1/08/08 - 14/05/09 - hidden leagues
TM Piala FA (TnID 44) - Qualifying round started 8/10/08 and Final on 22/01/09 - 07/02/09
TM Piala Malaysia (TnID45) - Qualifying round started on April and final on June 21 09.
I also make a few adjustment but this is the one with successfull tournament setup by confirming an English AND France league. FA Community Cup will commence on early season every season year between FA Comm. Cup winners vs BPL winners.
I noticed that in English league, BPL must finish first before FA Cup Finals.
In France league, Ligue 1 must finish first before Coupe Nationale. Trophee Champions also start on early season between Winners of Trophee Champions vs Ligue 1.
I believe trophee champions and FA Community Cup similar to our Malaysia Piala Sumbangsih (Charity Cup)
I realised that team 1 in both tournament must be winners of cup that not finish yet. So I try to follow suit.
So, I'm welcoming anyone comments if relevant. But the main reason I type this testing result is just to share with all of you, in case some of you having similar problem.
I suggest all of you look at tournament ID of other tournament as well to understand the structure of FIFA09 internal tournament setup.
