Hmm does anybody know how to fix it? :

I try to run CM09 but i have message "The program stopped working" and i cant even run this tool.
Im using Windows XP 32bit SP3. NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 and 3.0 and 3.5 installed. Newest DirectX installed too.

Without any help i figured out why its not working.
Creation Master 09 Doesnt work with Service Pack 3 for Windows XP!

Why?
CM09 is using NET Frmework 2.0, but NET Framework 2.0 is not working properly with Service Pack 3 ( NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is designed to Windows XP Service Pack 3 ), you can read this deep inside microsoft website written with small letters...
After crazy research i finally solve this problem...
I hope it will be usefull for others.

If you use SP3 with .NET framework 2.0, CM09 will work perfectly. I use CM09 with no problems.

"NET Framework 2.0 is not working properly with Service Pack 3"

It do not mean that its impossible to work, but not work properly, so there is a lot of people who have this problem because of Service Pack 3.
A lot of programers, i dont talk about CM09 now, have this problem, they made some applications and it worked fine, but when someone other was testing, its failed. And after researching they found the net framework 2 and service pack 3 issue.
They was able to do some changes, some dlls or something like that, after what it was working, but its more than i can take ( too complicated for me )

If it worked in your case, i`m happy for you :)
But for me, and some online buddys who couldnt run CM09, there was only one way to get it worked - no Service Pack 3.

I have been following this thread since it started and want to know whether this 1.1 version is the final one or not?

I have the same problem as MsVia, but slightly different error message.

Windows XP Professional SP3
.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (doesn't work on 2.0 either)

This is the same event but different exception.
First of all make sure that you have done all of this steps:
- NET Frmework 2.0 -> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...cb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en
- DirectX Software Development Kit -> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8A-E672-4B83-A28E-72B5E93BD60A&displaylang=en
- Fifa 09 installed

If, after this, the error still exist (especialy if after doing this steps, the error message will be looking like on the screen from my previous post), than you must uninstall Service Pack 3, or if you dont want to uninstall it, just use the method from here http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157673
But using this method remember that you need Virtual PC for 32 bit systems.

No, any change to the database will make FIFA incompatible with online playing. Many users have two installations of FIFA, one for online and the other for edting and update.

how do you install 2 copy's then?

and whats that?

Ehh, just copy folder named "data" and paste it in this same place as "orgdata".

In result: In Fifa 09 installation directory, you will have folders "data" and "orgdata ( this one will be original, never modified )"
Fifa always use folder named "data", so...you can instal whatever patch you want and play...and before playing online, just rename folders: "data" -> "customdata", and "orgdata" -> "data".

When you stop playing online, just rename it back. ( "data" -> "orgdata", and "customdata" -> "data" )
