64 bit vista is garbage. you can barely play any games at all switch to 32bit.

Mate the problem is that I do not have a 64 bit platform to try, I did a project for 64 bit but it doesn't work and I cannot test it. Send me you laptop and you will get the 64 bit version in a breeze ! (I am joking)
But seriously, have you tried to play with the compatibility settings of executables and dlls ?

Can you please just do it on a friends a computer. I have been using your creation master forever. You said you will have it out for 64-bit. I was just asking when you will have it out for 64-bit users. Im sure there are people who will help you beta test it just like all these "wonderful" people

Hi, just a suggestion. if you stuck with the problem. How about you set up a virtual machine onto you pc. You can download Microsoft virtual pc for vista which is free, virtualbox also free and vmware (not so free).

Assuming you're using VirtualPC, you can install 32-bit version of your os, install Cm09 into it and by using share folder features to edit your fifa09 as your heart content.

FYI, I'm using VPC quite a while now for my other project not related to game. So I don't really know if it works with FIFA09. But based on my experience, it should works.

Generally speaking (I guess Vista works in the same way): in the Windows Explorer right click on an executable and select Properties, then select the TAB compatibility, here you have different choices to play with.

Rinaldo, another report on CM Rel1.

I found a weird face on players for all created player using CM Rel1. Remember my previous report on CM beta 4? The player on EDIT PLAYER mode in FIFA09 were all bold, but this time around all players from CM-edited team having bold head and long jaw. That's totally weird. But the good thing is, the color, hair edited features work. Just that 3d head model is totall weird.

In fact, it looks like a killer in a 'Scary Movie (parody movie), the one with the white mask. The original movie, but forgot it's name, maybe halloween or scream.

Another one.

I play in manager mode. I let the game in visual simulation mode. Then later on 2nd half I intervene to control the play. Something weird also happen. the ball is without textures (or tranparent?). Only the mass of the ball exist. Also the same thing happen to the goalkeeper. My team goalie totally mesh-figure, meaning no graphic texture, just a black mesh, while the opponent team goalie, only the head in mesh-figure. other player on the field, so far so good.

Rinaldo, I afraid you miss this comment so I quote back. Hope for comment on this problem. FYI the mesh-problem thing, no longer happen. So it may happen on my Pc only but the long jaw face, I still have the problem eventough I alread reinstall fifa.db, eng.db, fat.db. I also already delete zdata_49 and all gui folders. Then I reload the patch, similar long jaw still exist.

Hey Rinaldo whats up, i got many third kits to unlock from the rewards section but it seems that when i unlock the last one the game crashes, i know that the limit is 127, but if you could please help us with that like in CM 07 that we could unlock plenty as we can. Please and thanks!

Hey RInaldo thanks for this awesome tool, but I just found out a problem. When I create a new turnament, and as i go and assign the winners for the semi final, it appears the second clasified from one of the groups instead of showing the winer of the quarter finals!

64 bit Vista works like a charm, until now the only application which did not work for me is CM 09 unfortunately. I play Fifa 09 and Fallout 3 without any problems.

On a side note, I don't think your opinion on Vista 64 bit helps us smart people who use modern technology instead of old "rubbish" from the 80's. And that is all I want to see about your reaction.

Rinaldo, I don't speak Italian but you probably do. I hope this is an offer to help you with a 64 bit version.

I posted a bug report on CM 09 1.0 on Vista 64 bit in http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2595952#post2595952.

Compatibility settings of executables and dlls: You can't change compatibility settings of dlls on Vista 64 bit, so that's no option. I changed the compatibility settings of CreationMaster09.exe to any option available without success. I started CM 09 as administrator and as my normal user (which is an administrator) but with no success.

You use .Net 2 as I am not mistaken. Does this page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241064(VS.80).aspx gives you any help on how to compile for 64 bit? I believe if you use something like /platform:x86 when you compile your code it should work on 64 bit Vista (in a 32 bit shell).

I tried (manager mode in simulation) and it works, no crash ! Btw. set League Level = 1 and ESPN Id = -1, these are the right values. I have no idea why your are experiencing a crash.

FIFA 09 and Fallout are commercial products made by Companies with hundredths of engineer - CM09 is made by one person during his free time. I did a try to build a 64bit version but it doesn't work and I have no way to test it. To see that there is a CLR error doesn't help a lot. I need to debug it on a x64 bit platform but I don't have it.

Btw Microsoft with Vista 64 did a tremendous commercial mistake because it cannot guarantee the backward compatibility of older software. I would not recommend to nobody to buy a Vista o.s. for the next two years.

I have not a 64 bit machine, I don't know personally nobody that has a 64 bit machine and I don't want to put my money in a 64bit machine. Sorry for the 64 bit users - if some of you live near to Bologna(Italy) and want to let his 64 bit machine to me for a couple of weeks I think I can make it (or maybe Babbo Natale could bring me a 64 bit computer for Christhmas, who knows ?) otherwise I don't see big chances to see CM09 running for 64 bit....and, honestly, I also start getting tired of this dicussion.
