CM 99/00 Crashing on Dec15,2001

I've played well into my third season but the game is crashing on match day of December 15, 2001. Has anyone else had this problem? I've emailed Eidos Tech Support but have not received a reply yet. Its crashing in the same manner that the demo would crash on January 1.

I'm hoping there is a patch or something for this on the way.

Crap is an accurate adjective. I got an automated response telling me to provide a category number in the title of the email...there wasnt even an option for CM 99/00! I had to submit for help solutions for CM3 and those were pretty useless.
