CM 03/04 question for 01/02 players...

I was just wondering if one of you guys who have played 03/04 could tell me if, in your opinion, the game is better than 01/02 and therefore worth buying.
I would value the opinion of you guys in the older games forum as many of you seem to have been as dissapointed with CM4 as I was. So, is CM 01/02 still the king of the Championship Manager series in your opinion or is 03/04 now number one ?

I guess you won't like CM 03/04 if you didn't like CM4... it's just like CM 01/02 was to CM 00/01 and the other on the CM3 series...

CM0102 is still the mother of all games. But CM0304 is still better, even though CM0102 is. I quite obviously cant explain it.

Lol. It's O.K, I understand. I have been fluent in 'drivel' since childhood, it being my first language also. It is good to hear from another fluent speaker. :)

For me, CM4 just didn't have the 'feel' of the older games, for whatever the hell that means. It just doesn't seem to grab your imagination in the same way.

well, I've only played the CM03/04 demo, but my stab at it:

CM 03/04 is much, much, much more complicated than CM 01/02 is... it goes much deeper into training, keeping your squad happy and healthy, and finances... way too complicated for me, which is why I didnt go through the trouble of ordering it or something

I think I'll stick to 01/02 (which I've got working again) and PES3 on the action side of things. Thanks for the answers chaps. :)

International or club sides? I've set mine up as the Premiership and edited a couple of teams into English ones to make up the numbers. Only 16 teams of course, but it still beats FIFA.
