valioso i dont think Konami is milking their product. You named 4 titles of WE. As said before they are for different parts of the world. Only Japan has two games of WE. WE6FE is far better then all others. So I dont see it as milking but i see it as a very eager behaviour to make their product better, so they can please their fans. Also I dont have the feeling they leave out things on purpose like EA does.
Tell me would you rather have WE6 and wait until we7 without WE6FE?

And about the worldwide release, I don't think thats possible, because, the us/european version needs editing like commentary, english text etc, so that takes time.

Wussup Valioso, I would say EA is milking their product (like wc?) But look at what improvements to the game there were; basically none. But u see the difference between EA and konami is that FE had so many improvements that they felt they had enough support to release it as another title. (which it does) WE6 and FE are 2 different games. That's why people buy it. That can't be said about EA.

i dont think enough improvements warrant release 3 games a year... because now winning eleven 7 is almost out..

and I am just saying.. that people criticize EA just because is EA without realizing that most companies do the same stuff... after all.. is a business

First of, KONAMI does have 3 different versions of WE6 but only the Japanese have more than one version. If you live in Europe, you only get 1 game (PES2). In North America, WE6I. In Japan, you get WE6, WE6FE, and if J league is your fancy WE6 J-League.
Secondly, you can say that KONAMI is milking WE in Japan, but then again look at the improvements upon each of its series. Anyone who have played WE6FE, will tell you that it is a big improvements from WE6. Unless you have played all the WE games, you can't say that the improvements are not worth it.

Konami is a japanese company dude.. japanese companies releases japanese versions first, then other regions will translate them to english and release later in europe/america or not even translated at all. This happens all the time:

Konami
Squaresoft
Capcom
Namco

I think this happens because most japanese don't know english. Can't complain.. they make the best games.

Fifa bring out more games a year without any improvements. They use big events like World Cups to milk.
Like bringing out fifa2002 and after that fifa world cup 2002 with only a few country teams? So instead of increasing they decreased the content.

Also people complain about fifa because it has been the same since 1995. The 2003 edition is the only real new one imo, though full of bugs, but still its a new breeze.

They always make minor improvements, while they have a whole one year the time. ANd look at Konami they improve their game a lot in a much shorter time span. They werent happy about WE6, so they improved it. Yes it a shame if you have bought WE6 already, but its must be worth it looking at the reactions people have of the game.

finally valioso you should read the WE6;FE review on ign so you can see what they all improved before saying its milking

I personally think Club Football isn't being released in North America because of the fanbase. No disrespect, but the football scene in America is nowhere near as big as it is in Europe. The money that they spend on licenses probably wouldn't be recuperated through the sales, or they'll barely break even. Hell, they'll even have to change the name. Club Soccer just doesn't sound right! lol:D

Not really, because I think they'd have to do North American teams as well. Somehow, I can't see americans rushing out to buy Celtic Club Soccer.

Im sorry, but I could not see myself buying a Metrostar version of Club Football. When instead I could be playing with Arsenal or Barcelona.

tell me guys, what does that have to do with PC games?
the discussion about US/EU releases is very old.. but the topic of this
discussion is about PC games.. =\
too bad nobody replied about this..
i'm really frustrated about this issue, and no one seems to care
so much about this issue.. maybe i'm the only one who is intrested at all in PC games? I think not..
less people have PS2, most of the people own a PC.
So why game companies don't release good and respectable footie games to PC?
Interesting. Very interesting.
