Clear evidence of CPU Cheating part 2--->

i found some clear evidence in my classified FBI files which show that in pes3 cheating is going on
rivaldo just stopped when he could easily blast the ball in from the rebound, but all my controls where blocked for a split second.

a video says more that a thousand words so just look at it

man that does suck i have experienced stuff like this as well it is extremely annoying especially very late in a game

Its true, on 4 stars and up the game cheats. i used to think it was just a case of your actions going against the script of the game (yes its scripted somewhat) but now i have played several international leagues and when u bump up the difficulty the cpu is always quickers to the ball no matter if u are several paces ahead of them.

Sometimes you will even run by the ball or kick and miss with no one around you just so the ball goes to a cpu player. Also at critical times in the game your controlled player will break stride and start making little steps that you cant control. At which point you are mashing buttons to no avail. Its disappointing to say the least even though the game is still very addictive.

pah, evidence, shmevidence....

dude, you need to practice more... practice and practice and those
things won't happen anymore. believe me. change tactics, dude... you know, soccer is an intricate game... very complex... even kicking the ball in from a rebound is more complex than you think... dude, happens all the time in real soccer... once saw a guy named Flohe hit the post from 2 meters out.. open goal, man... happens all the time... that's why PES is so *real*, man... no, ain't no cheating in PES3.. flawless AI... never noticed anything remotely fishy... always win by at least 5 stars on 3 goals... err... 3 goals on 5 stars...

i didnt start this thread to whine about cheating of the cpu. I read the previous 'evidence' thread and saw that lots of people said the cpu didnt cheat and forced theirselfs to find explanations why the player didnt react in the video.

Well i posted this new evidence video. So all of you who dont believe the cpu cheats please explain what is happening in the video?
It has nothing to do with tactics, plz explain what im doing wrong here.

that have to be one of these unexplained noises on wire between your pad and usb seating which happen everytime when you play against your mate and you want to proof him your superiority

"My pad doesn't react! I pressed shot but nothing happened! If not this, I would win! Let's play again!":)

talk of tactics, formations, etc. is meaningless when you are not actually controlling your guy for that vital second, not being allowed to even swing your leg to kick the ball, irrespective of whether he would have scored or smashed it past the post - the important factor is that you weren't allowed to kick the ball

"this sort of thing happens in real life" - i have yet to see in real life a guy become temporarily paralysed, just long enough to ensure a defender gets in to clear the ball

does anyone remeber that infamous spasm/twitching bug in WE6 where for about a second, your player could go into wweird spasm where he would stand there and flicker but you could not control?

the worst case I ever was when the ball broke to my guy in about 6 yards of space in the box and just as I was about to shoot, he went into this spasm and I could not move him until the ball had slowly rolled past his feet, meanwhile a defender trotted across and strolled off with the ball, then my guy comes back to life again - it was atrocious

for we7, all that's happened is that this spasm has been made less visually obvious - your guy does not stand there flickering any more but the impact is still the exactly same - you cannot control him for that vital second

the notion that the AI is nearly perfect is ludicrous - do you really think that in 15 years time we won't be looking back at WE7 and laughing at how crude the AI was?

Right I've had this happen to me a few times now, each time I try to figure out why it happened. I have never had it happen in such 'annoying' situations as the 2 threads posted with it.
What seems to be the cause is when theres a free ball and you press shoot, your power bar goes up....but then if the opponent reaches the ball before your player does, your player goes into that uncontrollable stopping animation. I've had this happen in all places on the field since trying to test it, there is definately no way the CPU is causing it to happen to cheat u out of anyhing. Its simply the way konami has coded the players reaction to not reaching a ball he was about to shoot.
Admittedly its not very realistic, and it can clearly cause some VERY annoying situations, but its not cpu assist I'm afraid. Just a bug.

Gobby is correct, these instances are simply bad programing.
The "CPU assist" is, as one PES player deftly put it:
"Why do our players run like Martin Keown, and all of the CPU's run like Henry being chased by a T-Rex?"
That and "turbo passing/possesion mode" that happens late game no matter how fatigued they should actually be...those are the only cheats.

today, on master league, Aston Villa got a penalty against me for a fould that was near the centre spot. the ref just pointed at the ground like the penalty spot was there and the next thing a villa player scored from the spot..

is this a common bug, or some extremely rare one.
