You want people to comment with knowledge and respect? I have to question your knowledge about English, oh, Im sorry "British" football with the responses that you have given. With your horribly inaccurate assessment of the Englsh game based upon ONE TEAM I would venture to say "the guy" knows alot more about Fener than you do about the confederate Real Madrid or whatever team you seem to think he follows. And seriously, where does your riddiculous hatred for ManYoo come from? Maybe some bitter embers left over from last year?serhat09 said:and the guy knows nothing about Fenerbahce, so he shouldn't be commenting either.
When you act so brashly and angrily as this, can you blame people for trying to stir you up? That just sounds like the comment of an arrogant, ignorant, racist piece of trashserhat09 said:Fuc!k England and Fuc!k Manchester United
PSVFOREVER said:Hmmm, Fenerbahce deserved the victory no doubt about that. If Vennegoor wasnt so stupid (unnessecary penalty and 2nd yellow card) we may have won, as it wouldve been 0-0 at half time, and it wouldve been a completly different 2nd half. Now lets hope Fenerbahce draws Schalke tiwce, and we get a win vs Milan.

Just enjoy your win as has been said and stop ripping on the whole world just because some people dont think highly of your team. If I started responding to everyone who ripped on Chelsea on this site, thats all I would have time for
oh man, GREAT post serhat! You took the words out of my mouth and everyone elses mouths who can't stand the obnoxious premiership worshippers! wow you just owned every england/premiership supporter out there! i'm so happy i'm not one of them at this moment. LoL!serhat09 said:Horribly Inaccurate assessment? Manchester United has been one of the most underachieving, "Big Name" sides in europe right now. That is NOT an inaccurate assessment, considering their league position last year was abysmal. 3rd place...doesn't sound so bad does it?... but 18 points behind the 1rst place team sounds REALLY bad. Considering their poor showing in the CL last year, and even now.
Chelsea was a disgrace, for a team that spent over 74 million pounds when Abramovich took over, and over 50 million pounds this year, not to mention the deals in between seasons, so you basically have the same budget as Dubai, and yet you couldn't win the CL. A team with half the budget did. i guess I should take it back, "english" football isn't totally a disgrace, considering we had the best final in CL history thanks to Liverpool, but do the ends in this case justify the means? Manchester United had a poor showing in Europe, along with Chelsea (considering their endless budget, all star team and talented coach), and Arsenal. And who knew that Liverpool in the end would stick out of the crop. They play one of the most exciting football styles i've seen, next to PSV's last year. So i take it back, the big name teams in england suck, only Liverpool is awesome.
I just hate how cocky you guys act though, not all of you, but some of you. Just the way you prance like your football is so superior, and how great the premiership is, but have only produced CL winners TWICE in the last 20 years, and the UEFA cup only ONCE in the last 20 years, in fact, if you look at the last 20 years, Liverpool has been the most successful "english" club in europe. Yet, i've NEVER bashed Liverpool, you may be saying right now you insulted the whole english league, this is true. But i do take it back, it is more correct of me to say, I think the top teams in england are a disgrace, EXCEPT Liverpool. The rest of the top clubs are a complete disgrace, considering the money, the history, the reputation they have, the chairman like abramovic, the star players, the wage budgets, i mean, 2 winners in the CL in the last 20 years? That's brutal.
All coming from a league that used to dominate europe in the 70's. Damn. that's a while back.
I guess its smart what Abramovich is doing, he's a crook, and what better way to get rid of dirty money, than to buy a football club and splurge money every year, i'd hate to see Chelsea when he's done with football.
Italian football will always be superior and so will the Spanish and the Germans aren't too shabby either.
Italians: 6 CL in the last 20 years.
8 UEFA Cups in the last 20 years.
Spanish: 4 CL in the last 20 years.
3 UEFA Cups in the last 20 years.
Germans: 2 CL in the last 20 years
3 UEFA Cups in the last 20 years.
It's like you get your cheap thrills insulting smaller teams like Fenerbahce, cause you just can't really insult the bigger teams. It's hilarious. I guess the arguement "Pick on someone your own size" just doesn't apply to some of you.

1. Chelsea killed on the way to the league title winning it comfortably, and that you consider shameful given the 18 point gap over third place, yet it was a disgrace that they also didnt win the Champions League? So essentially they should win every competition in which they are entered, despite other teams having better pedigrees and higher wage bills? So I guess the real disgrace (the one that was wasted by 18 points on the way to the title, and knocked out of the club competition in which Chelsea, the team that dominated them domestically, finished "disgracefully") here is Manchester United. Wait a second: that was the team that RIPPED fener at home with a squad including Kleberson and Bellion.serhat09 said:Horribly Inaccurate assessment? Well, I guess by that logic:
> Chelsea > Man U >>>>> Fener
2. Liverpool play one of the most exciting styles youve ever known? If by that you mean their comeback in the final as a "style" then ok, but anyone who has seen their league form or performances this year knows better. You must not watch all that much "British" football
3. Its a well known fact that the limitations on foreigners playing for teams in the CL hurt English sides more than teams like Ajax and Italian clubs who were composed mainly of players of like nationality. This flaw is pretty minor, though, when compared with the fact that after Heysel, English teams, not British ones, had a self imposed ban from European play for 5 years. So in reality, your arbitrary window of 20 years includes 5 years in which not a single english team could even take part. Way to go.
4. For someone who seemed to be creaming his drawers at the prospect of Abramovich taking over his club 6 months ago, you sure have changed your tune on him. Also, do you have the first clue about his business dealings or anything related to his finances? Because the Russian government hasnt yet been able to nail him down for it, but they could probably really use your insider input.
5. So Spanish football will always be superior? No spanish side made it out of the round of 16 last year. Italian football will always be superior? 2 of 3 Spanish sides were dropped by Liverpool last year. They have the better pedigree of success over your arbitrary period of the last 2 decades, but make it 25 and watch those numbers change dramatically.
Italian sides have generally had a better go of it because they are more tactically rigid, per the requirements for success in their domestic league.
6. Other English clubs are a "compelete disgrace"? Well, how did it feel to have your team absolutely demolished by a "complete disgrace" last year, after shooting their mouthes off about how their opposition wernt so tough. Face facts: Liverpool are, historically, a European powerhouse and are now enjoying a revival. In 2 years of having then spending power of a big club, Chelsea has gotten to the CL semi finals twice. Manchester United have a pedigree of domestic success in the "british league" thats almost unmatched by any other domestic side in Europe. Arsenal have their troubles in Europe, but they are still an excellent side, they, like all these "disgraceful" English teams have achieved more than Fener in this competition on which you place so much emphasis regarding a teams worth, and like PSV, which began this whole argument, I would pick them to win a one off with your team. You remember PSV, right? They were the side that nearly made it to the final last year, and they won it in the late 80's. And since performance in the Champions League over the last 20 years clearly determines how able a team is to perform this year, they clearly shouldve beaten Fenerbache.
7. Nobody was being cocky about anything English until you started shooting off your mouth about how terrible "british" football was.
8. You fener fans (I dont stereotype all turks, or fans of the turkish league, because im not an idiot) have a gigantic chip on your shoulder. Someone comes into a thread, says the slightest thing to upset you, and you go stir crazy and start shooting off your mouths about things which you clearly have little to no idea. I could justify saying any league was complete sh*t if I twisted every fact at my disposal just the way I wanted it.
Grow up, and move on. Cant you people see youre just being stirred up to give people a laugh? Id expect your reply to this post will further that even more.
