Not with a proper dosis. Beside the one that gave him heroin is a professional medical staffs not some cracker dealer from the street.

My friend's mom is a pysio therapist and she reckons that players get these kind of injuries because the muscles in the leg are so strong that they can cruch the bone.

it seems that that's what has happened to Cisse because there wasn't much in the way of a tackle from McEveley

Yes of course, I just figured that heroin IS heroin, and we've all heard about what it does to people....

That doesn't make sense to me....if the muscles are so strong as they're supposed to be (especially on a pro athlete) shouldn't they be working as an even stronger "padding" around the bones?

Yeah man, theres that risk, the thing is this drugs are used with terminal patients, like people with advanced cancer (leukemia, etc.), who are potential death people, but a person like Cisse that doesnt have a death risk, its rare ...

I heard that people with leg problems, they take things like darvon, diazepan, valium ... even marijuana infusions

Yes muscles can provide padding just like fats do, but when they contract the force exerted is strong enough to crush bones. The disease tetanus (or lockjaw) causes muscles to contract without control, and that prevents you from moving you jaw hence the name of the disease. When the disease gets worse all your muscles will contract uncontrollably and the great forces exerted causes fractures to your bones and spines. But I'm not sure what happened to cisse though.

Ok, that makes sense.....but I can't see it happening to a pro (and such a young) athlete........and let alone in the leg?

as an athelte he would need pretty powerful legs to play week in week out.
i think that the way he landed on his foot caused the muscles to hyperextend, just as a reaction because when i saw it it seemed like his leg has been almost broke in two.

It can happen to anyone of any standard or age. If anything it's more likely to happen to a pro as their muscles are so strong.
