If I want to preview a cinematic,
And I want to put it back in aiscript.viv
The name of the file is:
3EGEACA1.sci.

Can anyone give me the code to make a batch file to compress te 3EGEACA1.sci file?

Hey Dip!

I've been fiddling around with the cinematics too of late.

I've been trying to make new player specific cinematics, but I often find that either they don't work, or I get wrong cinematics (for example, ref showing a yellow card when I score - how lame is that!! )

Can you tell me how to make player specific celebrations? For example, Javier Zanetti, ID no 1041. Suppose I want to put, say, Scholes celebration for Zanetti, how would I do that?

Importing files back into aiscript.viv is very easy if you have GFXPAK. In case you don't, then if you have Boot Raptor, check in the Boots folder. You will find GFXPAK there.

I can tell you how to import, but as for compression, I don't know whether it is necessary, but I have never tried it.

Here is the procedure to import:
1) Copy the GFXPAK.exe file into your 'cmn\be' folder
2) Bring all the files you want to import to your aiscript.viv to your 'cmn\be' folder
2) Open the Windows DOS Command Prompt (located in the Start\Programs\Accesories folder of Windows XP, or in the Start\Progams folder of other Windows like ME/98
3)Type the following commands:
a)To go to the cinematics folder of FIFA 2003 (assuming you have installed it in the default folder).

cd cprogram files\ea sports\fifa 2003\data\cmn\be

b)To import your file

gfxpak -p aiscript.viv 3gl####.scb abcdefg.pqr
ie. after typing aiscript.viv, type the names of the files you want to import, leaving spaces in between

That's all!

So, if you can help me with the player celebrations, I'll be very grateful.

My sentiments exactly!

I've tried a lot with these cinematics, but I just can't get any of mine to work. I've spent so many hours with the hex editor, thaat I'm starting to get nightmares of addresses and bits!!

Let me know what you can find out!
