Hello there,
I am in the development stage of a Scottish LEagues patch for FIFA 2008 which will include all SFL Teams (Divisions 1-3), All other "Senior" Teams -> Hihgland LEague, East of Scotland League and South of Scotland League as well as the 3 Junior Superleagues (North, West and East).
This will lead to a fully blown Scottish Cup as well as a number of smaller competitions to run.

What I need from you all is a bit of help with some items I'm not able to perfect.
I can handle kits, logos, artwork, adboards and flags, but would love some help with the following:

Stadia, - I was wondering if someone has been able to build or could build, some stadia, which feature a stand on one side and one without any grandstands? I can supply artwork idaeas, but would love to have some small country grounds like this.

Turf - I'd like to find a turf which isn't manicured and is in fact a bit decayed

Adboards - Is it possible to have them not rotate? This will make for a more authentic look.

If any one has any questions or assistance, please don't hesitate the let me know.

Sounds really good, I've been waiting for a Scottish-patch. I hope you find some help, i would help you but im not that good.

I think FIFA's original turf for this year is so much better than all the turfs people made. All the other stuff people make and post on the forums are great but not the turfs, but thats just my opinion. So my advise is to stick with the original turfs.

very nice!!! keep making dude, a question: the patch will include stadiums for spl, kits, turfs and adboards? and faces for the major players, 4 example players of celts and gers? thanks dude, ciao:p

If someone has made the faces, I'm keen to include them. I have no idea how to make faces.
I'll take faces from whichever team they apply. I'm a teuchter, not one of those "Old firm" folk.
I have PMed various people asking for permission to use their hard work in this patch , but won'
t release the details until I have their permission.

The other issue regarding Stadia, is the adboards, is it possible to stop the adboards from rotating? Most grounds in Scotland DO NOT have rotating adboards.

As far as adbaords go, I intend to do them for all SPL teams and hopefully share some amongst a couple of SFL teams eg Forfar and Arbroath.

I need to find some really small Stadia, with small or non existent stand and some stadia which don't have any adboards or stands.
I can provide artwork and pictures, but have no idea how to create a stadium.

I've made a Diadora ball for the SFL (which every team must use in Divisons 1-3) and numbers from the SFL which you can probably make out from the screenshot below. The teams on display are from the Scottish Second Divison - Raith Rovers v Ayr United.

I've created the kits for most of the 10 Leagues worth of teams. I was going to hold off and put it all into the patch, but would people prefer If I zipped the kits and started to make them available seperately as well?

I've just played with the Rosters and named and skilled up each player.
This was done in comparison to the SPL in the game already bearing in mind each team's position in the tables last year as well as a bit of a historical trend.
By the time you get down to the junior teams, we are talking about players with 15-20 skill points (out of 100) This may seem a bit dodgy, but most teams in such leagues are or near to equal strength, it is more so, that if an SPL or 1st Division team meet a Highland League Team, chances are heavily stacked in favour of the SPL or 1st Divison Team. This isn't to say upsets can't occur, but I think it works best this way.
I am having troubles finding squad listings for my South of Scotland Superleague. If you have any sources, feel free to fill me in, otherwise, I may just have to use random names.
