Hello there again,
After pulling my hair out last year and suffering from CM issues,
i'm back again to put together a Scottish Leagues Patch.
I've been working away since October (though I had 3 months off in Germany in the middle) to bring this to you and it isn't far off done.

So what will the patch contain: (Hoping I can put it together...)

What you might expect
- All SFL Teams with logos, kits, lineups and adboards

And...
SENIOR LEAGUES
- Highland Football League
- East of Scotland Football League (Premier and Division One)
- South of Scotland Football League

As well as...
JUNIOR LEAGUES
- SJFA WEST SUPERLEAGUE
- SJFA WEST PREMIER
- SJFA EAST SUPERLEAGUE
- SJFA NORTH SUPERLEAGUE

In other words the 11 highest leagues in Scotland under the SPL. 138 teams from Gretna to Wick Academy and from Wigtown to Peterhead.
All teams graded so Pollok struggles against Partick!
Rivalries reunited - Ross County vs Caley...

Cups..
FULL Scottish Cup (including all eligible teams and rounds)
---> Win the cup and go into Europe...
Scottish League Cup
Scottish Challenge Cup
Abridged Scottish Junior Cup (with 52 teams) -> qualify to take on the big boys in the Scottish Cup.

Diadora Scottish Referees Kits

SPL, SFL and Junior Kit number fonts

SFL and Junior Footballs (Diadora and Mitre - as pictured)

All teams come with squads, kits and logos.

Stadia
- Celtic Park
- Ibrox
- Caley
- Almondvale
- Pittodrie
- Fir Park
- Tannandice
- Easter Road
- Tynecastle
- Hampden

IF ANYONE CAN MAKE STADIA - please help... )a few smaller ones would be nice)

Any feedback or suggestions are helpful - any help is also helpful.

Sounds great! I had some troubles with last years patch in career mode, i believe it was something with the transfers that messed it up. But anyway good luck, im looking forward to try it out.

Looks like a really nice patch and it sure would be a lot of fun to play a career with these teams.

For the screenshots, I just wouldn't make them in .gif-format, better use jpg. or .png.
The Quality will look better and the file size decreases.

Leonenko, hopefully we have more luck this year...
I think Career mode will be fantastic. I have half a mind to add as many cups as possibl before FIFA crashes. I understand there is a limit to how many cups can be played in the first year. Any ideas?

Anyway, here are some JPG/PNG files which probably don't look too crash hot as I put the screen res down so the game is playable. They seem bigger than GIFs.

All seems to be working so far. I just have some worry about exporting everything...

I added the SFA Challenge Cups (North and South) to give the Highland League, EOS and SOS some variety. Had to add another team Shetland XI.

Anyway another screenshot - Spartans v Whitehill Welfare
(East of Scotland League)

I like Sketchup - it is really easy to use.

I have no idea how to convert them to FIFA, but if someone has the time and energy I would be grateful.

it's easy, just export the file from Sketchup to 3ds format...

You can open 3ds format in Rhino 3D, and you can convert these stadiums to FIFA 09 format...

Yes, you can only do that if you have a pay version, but you can get a pirated version of the program

Hey Chuckinho, really enjoyed your Scottish patch for FIFA 08 so looking forward to the 09 version. There can't be many patchmakers out there who would take the trouble to create Scottish Junior teams. Surprising, given that some of the latter can now enter the Scottish Cup ?

Indeed, I just want to create something that is a bit more realistic.
I remember picking up FIFA 2001 on the PC and starting to make Scottish Kits as I played the game and only found the SPL which isn't where my favourite team fits in.
Therefore from then on I've been making Scottish Kits, but never SPL ones as usually someone else finds the energy to do that.
Juniors are an important part of the Scottish Football Landscape and the word "Junior" doesn't indicate age, but simply another stream. Many Junior teams trash senior opponents.
In the patch so far I have to top leagues (Superleagues) of all three Junior Regions in Scotland (West, East and North).

I've also added the SJFA West Division One as well as the Central and Ayrshire Leagues. This helps make the Scottish Junior Cup a larger tournament whilst giving the top flight in the West strong Sectional League Cups. I know most people playing the patch will go straight to the Old Firm and manage there, but perhpas the purists will start out with some Junior or non-league startup.

I haven't included any other teams from East and North Juniors as the Information is really scare on the ground. In 2 nights I've been able to make kits, squads and logos for the Central and Ayrshire Leagues with little hinderance. - Flickr, Picasa and Photobox are lifesavers!

Many in Scotland talk about trying to create a Pyramid structure like in Germany, but it would take a lot of work as you can't say all senior competitiions are better than the juniors. Not all Senior competitions are even either.

With 4 Junior Teams in the Scottish Cup (full cup in the patch), we are seeing the Junior Standard.

This is part of the reason I plead every year with the stadium makers to string me along for a couple of small grandstandless parks so the games under SPL level look more authentic. Some grounds with fences around them and non rotating adboards - if any.:taz:

More Junior action.

It looks like I need to check the Ball ID for the teams as it is showing the ball I have for the Seniors, not the Juniors ball.
