Chip shot/early cross

Hi all, I have a question. I've just upgraded to a Saitek P880 from a P220 and it's awesome - makes the game much more interesting having a Dual Analog Pad. I still can't figure out how to do a 'chip shot' and an 'early cross'. In the game manual it gives the keyboard commands Q+D and Q+A respectively - I don't know which button on my controller is the equivalent of the letter Q on the keyboard.

Is the 'modifier' button the one I use as 'Q' or is it a case of having to program the control pad to create this button? All help greatly appreciated. :)

Hi Nobby - I've already looked in the manual but it only shows the Logitech Dual Action and the Saitek 2500 Rumble Force. Also I've changed a couple of the default buttons that were pre-selected in the FIFA control menu(ie pass was button 1, I changed it to 2 etc). According to the manual, the button on your pad that is the equivalent to button Q on the keyboard doesn't do anything on it's own. Sorry if I'm sounding confusing here hehe. If there are any other P880 users who could help me out that would be great. Surely I must be able to access these moves with the pad I have? Again, all help greatly appreciated.

That's not what it says in the manual though, surely they wouldn't say you could do something when you actually can't? According to the manual you can definetely do an early cross and a chip shot.....also this 'Q' button is also needed to do a manual through ball and a lobbed through ball. Or maybe you mean you can't do it with a joypad, I dunno. Somebody out there must know the deal with this, I certainly hope so hehe cos it's bugging me a little - I feel like I'm missing out on some of the game. Again, any help much appreciated. :)

Thanks Rochester :) No offense but I don't see how I was acting like an idiot.....yes I thought he was probably messing with me but thought I'd ask him rather than just leave it at his 'sure' post. Thanks for the link, much appreciated. :)
