Chelsea just got Veron and Mutu , im sure if they managed to get Inter to agree they could get Crespo to play for them....they will probably have the best team on paper in the EPL soon after this guy is done buying players (till the next transfer season in winter or something when they will buy more)....they want a target man and they will get one

:( dont give a damn about crespo but chelsea is destroying football...in the moment there are only few club who has the money to spend(chelsea,real,man united)they are buying and improving the team but minos like birmingham,portsmouth,arsenal dosent have money and they cant improve squad,maybe buy a few french teens and thats all so the rich clubs keep going better and little clubs going backwards and not improving:kader:

I have to disagree.

ON paper arsenal and manchester united are still better teams

I mean how many players can Chelsea buy that are better than

Viera, Pires, Henry, Cole and Campbell
or
Nistlerooy, Scholes and Giggs

Mutu = Henry
Chelseas midfield depth is quite impressive now I think. At par with Arse and MU, who have a couple better players but not the depth. Veron, Duff, Geremi, Gronks, Lampard....Perhaps just as good as Arsenal but better than MU's depth at midfield. Chelsea has young players at defense that could be just as good as the ones you mentioned quite soon. Terry and Gallas!

Also tottiii said if Chelsea gets a few more players.
But yes, it will be debateable who is best on paper, but lets see how the works out on the pitch.

and get Crespo and will be Champions of England
