I used to watch it every week, now I watch the beginning and the last match. It's not like it used to be. The girls are hotter though. :chew:

Must concur. I used to watch back in the WWF days, probably 20 years ago and more. Back when the only hot girl was Elizabeth, Macho Man Randy Savage's manager.

Anyway, sorry Chelsea fans for turking your thread.

Cheers.:)

Jose Mourinho was spotted in the first row seats with his two sons at Monday Night Raw tonight. Shane McMahon made some comments towards Chelsea and how 6 of their players were beaten by some skinny jobber at a pub earlier that night (as a joke, Probably publicity towards the Man U/Chelsea rivalry). Mourinho kept laughing at Shane's comments. It was a funny moment because i didn't expect Mourinho to be attending a wrestling show lol.

I would never count him out. He is a player that can handle huge amounts of pressure. He has gotten important goals for Chelsea and he impacts the play at times, but you wouldn't be able to notice. His finishing is very good, but he rarely tests the keepers since hes started playing for Chelsea. I noticed that he plays attacking in the first half then he begins to defend during the second half. I guess the playing style is different at Chelsea and i think he is getting the hang of it.

**** i got to watch RAW it comes on 2 days late down here, anyone got info on Ricardo Carvalihos condition he missed the Newcastle which is probably the reason we drew the game, Mourinho mentioned it was some sort of injury and to paint a dark picture of it, WTF anyone know if he will be fit for the Liverpool game or are we gonna fuck up again.

I just found out who the ref will be for the Chelsea V Man U game at the Bridge.......Graham "The referee's a wanker" Poll.

Can you believe that the Premier League would give this game of all games, to this useless, attention seeking prick?

A game that would have been something special, will now only be remembered for the controversies that Poll will create. Thank fu<k that this is his last season. Wanker.

Poll is a wierd guy but it'd be nice if he could pull the title race in our favour all of a sudden by causing United loss. There's not one guy who you can leave alone on the United squad after watching the Milan game so hopefully there'll be tight marking.

Well he nearly cost us (Australia) at the WC giving Josip Simunic 3 cards before he was sent off. Take care.

Help?

Mourinho should allow Boulahrouz to take part in the game tonight he doesn't get too many opportunities and with the injury to Ricky and the suspension for Essien i think its Boullas time to shine.

No absolutely mate. Poll hasthe ability to ass fu<k any team on the day, as long as he is the one who grabs the headlines in the following mornings papers, he will be happy.

This is a ref who actively decides the outcome of a game. He will often favour one team over the other, although we never know until the game which team will get the benefit of his decisions.

He has issues with "big" players. For some reason he hates the fact that he is not as famous or as rich as the "big" players and he sets out in every game to be the dominant figure on the pitch.

A good ref is hardly ever noticed in a game. Poll is NOT a good ref. He is useless. I think he has been given the gig by the EPL because he IS controversial.

For all his cock ups over the last few seasons, he has NEVER been bought to book by the FA or the Premier League. He is backed to the hilt by both organisations after every controversial game he partakes in. I think that says a lot about the wanky English FA and the Premier League.

Haha Mourinho was talking about going to the wrestling in an interview the other week.

From what I've heard, Shane McMahon actually called out Jose during one of their segments,

Tough game today, no ballack or essien. Hope you guys pull it off

Ballack and Essien were definetely missed but it was an enjoyable game. Ferreira played well so that answers your Bouhlarouz question. I have enough guts now though to say that Makelele isn’t the necessary fixture in the side that he was before. The only negative in this game really was the gap between defence and attack for us.

Well I think Jose's tactics were spot on tonight. Attack from the kick off and keep attacking until we score. We did that and dominated the first half easily. The second half was obviously defend what we have but continue to catch them with a counter attack. We came very close on numerous occasions to scoring more goals.

Fantastic goal by Joe Cole, masterfully made by Drogba who was supplied a sublime pass by Carvalho. Frank came very close twice but was denied on both occasions by 2 great saves by Reina. Drog had 2 headers that were close too.

I thought that all departments did their job well tonight. The defence was a wall, the midfield didn't allow a lot to get through and the forwards attacked enough to restict Liverpool committing too many men forward. Perfect scenario in my opinion.

The fact that Liverpool couldn't score a vital way goal was just as important as Chelsea scoring. The onus is on the visiting team to score that crucial away goal, and if they don't score it, that is in itself a good achievement. We went one better. We scored too.

It must be obvious to all by now that Chelsea are very comfortable just soaking up whatever is thrown at them. Falling back and soaking up the pressure is something that Chelsea do very well and to great effect. Some people out there think that its the other team that push us back. They still don't realise that to fall back, defend and contain and then counter is a tactic that Chelsea use in almost every game they play.

I heard a commentator on the radio say that "Liverpool dominated the second half". No they did not. Another commentator who has obviously not seen Chelsea play much this season I suspect. Almost every time Liverpool attempted to penetrate, they were allowed to advance only so far and then either the Chelsea midfielders or defenders fought for possession. When they did manage a shot on goal, Cech made a great save to deny Gerrard.

Tonight the team worked well as a unit and with Essien back for the second leg at Anfield, we are in pole position for the Final. They HAVE to score but they also have to stop us scoring. I'm looking forward to it.

The second half was a back and forth affair, Liverpool didn't dominate. That one snap volley kick by Lampard near the end which Reina stopped was ace. I was watching the replay and it's really wierd how he brought his leg back and up before snapping it and kicking the ball so hard. I'll probably end up trying to pull that off during practise. The goalies were great though to make saves like that.
