yeah, it was a case of whatever Utd could do, we could do just as badly....still we've still got 8 games to go, with Rooney and Scholes out, it isn't entirely certain that Utd will pick maximum points from their remaining games, but we need to make sure we take of our own results in the first place. We really need to start games with 4-4-2, drop Ballack and put Essien with Quaresma and Kalou on the wings. Ballack hasn't been performing quite well for a while but he also hasn't had much rest either.

Joe Cole is out for the season. And Riccy is injured again. So the usual four isn't the strongest back four that we have available.

No, I'm sure it's been said a million times everywhere. I know for a fact that I've said it several times. We will win something this year, I can feel it, and although league success is the most important, I'd be very pleased with success in Europe, something even Mourinho hasn't managed.

If he wasn't, he wouldn't have been in the mix the past few games. A really solid defender and a calm lad. Its actually rare that we have one of our youngsters come through so quickly, with the number established players in our squad. So far he's started in some of our games in RB, although he is more of a Carvalho type of defender.
He was also called up by Capello, shows how highly people regard him.

Yeah, solid at the back and good going forward too. You're right Zakov, he is very much like Carvalho. Lots of gossip about him being chased by a few clubs at the moment, but I have a feeling that he wants to be a Chelsea boy. He has been patient and bided his time, and now he gets his chance. Definately a star player for the future. Still has a bit to learn too.
