Zola surprised me with his tactics to be honest. They played more defensivly than I thought they would. Zola must have watched the last few home games we have played, and seen how the likes of Newcastle managed to get a point at the Bridge. Not pretty but the points are all important to relegation threatened clubs I guess.
Deco has definately faded big time. Even the easier passes are not finding their target, and it's a worry. Then he scores that wonderful goal last week right? So I would tend to think that Deco needs a little time to regain his admitted loss of form, and the only way to do that is to play through it. That's why he starts every game, because it could be the next game where everything clicks for him again.
We do miss Bison though, although I hear that his recovery is way ahead of schedule, so that's great news. I'd like to see Ricci back very soon as well. With him at the back we are less fragile than without him. Two very influencial players for us.
Definately a stone cold penalty on Lamps, and the ref was right in front of it, and saw the whole thing. So what are we to delude from that intentional refusal to give us the penalty? What indeed.
So when the wanky media are talking about a supposed crisis at the Bridge, because of the point's we've dropped at home, these facts need to be remembered. In reality that should have been 3 points to us, so the dropping of points lies solely at the referee's door once again, and not for the first or last time this season.
After the final whistle, some booing started. Most of the booing was coming from the West Ham fans (as you do), as the Chelsea players came to the fans and applauded them. Then I noticed a few Chelsea lads near me booing too, and i asked them what they were booing for. " I think its for Scott Parker and Carlton Cole ", said the fan.
So why the media decided that we booed our team off the pitch is beyond me. They even told Scolari that we booed the boys, which was not true at all. The media are scum and I fu<king hate them with a vengance, for the damage they cause.
I have seen in print this week one fabricated story after another, concerning Chelsea, it's employees or it's fans. Transfer requests that do not exist. Alledged statements by players that were not made. Players we are chasing, and players we are selling. Players mutiny, and people falling out. The same old crap whether its us, United or Arsenal. So best to simply ignore the crap, and anyone who wants to repeat it as fact.
Have we heard much about the entire Chelsea squad doing a tour of all the childrens hospitals over the last couple of weeks, distributing presents and hoping to bring a little joy to the children's Christmas? Nope, not a fu<king word.
Football equipment to African schools? Nope, yet again.
There are lots of positive things going on at Chelsea, and not all of them has anything to do with football. We have always been big in the community, and now we are big in the International community too. We do a lot of good as a club, and that's something that makes me proud to be Chelsea.
So when the media start sh!t stirring about a point dropped here and there, and how devastating it is to us, then I remember that there are many things in life more important than a game of football. More devestating things are happening around the world that a few dropped points can compare with. So the media should maybe think about that. They won't of course because they are morons. Ah, the media can kiss my arse. I don't give a monkey's what they write.
Mind you, it did make me laugh when I found out why Man U dropped their appeal to the FA over the Evra incident. They requested the transcipt of the incident before they made a decidion whether to appeal or not.
With the transcript recieved, United were stunned by the findings it seems. Thanks to C.C.T.V. evidence, and witness staements, the independant panel concluded that Gary Neville began the whole thing by being "abusive", to the Chelsea staff member, when asked to leave the pitch.
Evra was accused of returning to confront Bethall for a second time after the first altercation had finished, probably because Mike Phelan, Man U's assistant manager told Evra that Bethall had directed a racist insult at him.
A claim that was supported by goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis and fitness coach Tony Strudwick. All three came under fire from the inquiry, for the inconsistencies in their evidence, which resulted in the claims of racism being found to be non- existant. In other words they lied.
C.C.T.V. also showed Evra landing at least one punch to the Chelsea groundsman, therefore proving that Evra's claims that he never hit anyone were false.
No wonder Gill and Ferguson thought it was better for United if all this went away quietly huh?
Our next game is on Monday. Away against Everton. Should be lively. We're playing away so maybe we might get all three points this time huh? Lets ask the ref shall we?
