yeah I kinda of knew it was bollocks, but I thought they did it well, and I could imagine Ballack writing something like that in his real diary, hehhee

About the Wigan pitch, I must say I'm not suprised, that cow field is usually at its best when it is in worst condition, usually after the Warriors play there....
well, even if Bruce or Whelan want to do Utd favours I believe in the Wigan players to give their 100% performance seeing its the last game of season, players like Valencia might see this as an opportunity to prove why they are sought out from the bigger clubs.........

Good luck Sunday lads, could be a rollercoaster. What a great season this has been. Chelsea have taken too much stick this year for no real reason.

Cheers Sean. Yep Sunday will be a real nail biter mate.

Yeah the stick has been excessive once again. I think its just become a habit now to slag us off constantly. Personally I ignore all the crap, as do most Chelsea fans.

When it comes from the media, they are scum anyway, as they have gone out of their way to prove to us once again this season. So I ignore everything they have to say. 80 million for Messi???? Where the fu<k do they get this sh1t? Morons write this stuff, and morons read it and believe it.

As for other fans giving us undeserved stick. That is simply envy. I don't care how many of them deny that fact, but deep down they are gutted.

Mainly because the media has been preparing them for when Chelsea implode. They haven't imploded, and they are not likely to either. I think that's what hurts the most. The realisation that it aint gonna happen must be very frustrating indeed.

Oh yeah, and the fact that we are also one of the 2 great teams in the EPL. Oh, and we are stinking rich, and we have an owner who cares about the club, and has not yet shown the signs of boredom that many were hoping for.

We have big players who love it at Chelsea, who have desire, hunger, pride and guts. Sure they get handsomely rewarded, but money cannot buy those attributes.

We have a manager who has been on the recieving end of much unwarranted abuse too, but here we are equal on points with United at the top of the table, and in the CL final. I think many are dissapointed that Avram has not been the disaster that they were hoping for. He will be our manager next season also and I'm happy with that, but the hate campaign will continue I think.

We are the club that everyone likes to hate. That only happens to clubs who are seen as a threat, so in a way its a back handed compliment I guess. We've lived with it for as long as I care to remember. It has become tedious thats for sure, but it doen't affect me at all.

Avram gets the Barclays Manager of the month award. Recognition (at least in a small way), at last. Well done mate. You deserve it.;)

Great season, I have to say. Started out quite badly, I think, but to be at the CL final for the first time and within reach of the league, quite an achievement. I think Grant proved everyone wrong, he might not be Mou, but he got us where Mou couldn't, and he might get us the best result in years.

I highly doubt Bolton will be able to stop us. Home, they've guaranteed their stay in the Premiership and the players know they have to win. Plus, they'll want to cap off the season the best way possible, so I think we'll see more than 2 goals, too. I'm sceptical but hopeful in regards to the Wigan game. ManU go into the game the same way we do, and they're just as good as we are, that said, Wigan are tougher and I trust Bruce will do something to finish the season with their heads held high. Fingers crossed for a tie, we got it at Blackburn, we might get it again.

CL final. Well, my belief is that we'll end the season with silverware, probably this one. Prem dreams get squahsed, all out at Moscow, and we've beaten ManU at similar events in the past.

Go Blues!

hehe I read somewhere Mourinho saying he regretted not leaving before the start of the season, but the only reason he didn't was because he had promised the fans that he wouldn't leave by his own will. He also congratulated Grant on his achievements and said that he wasn't jealous of Avram, he said that "jealousy is for losers" (H) "only people with losing mentality would be jealous of someone else reaching what he did" and something like "plus, I've already done it too" :p

well typical Jose, nothing less from what I expected him to say. and there's all this nonsense about him turning down a move to "bigger" club to stay at Chelsea during the start of the season, well as far as I'm concerned Goal.com only reposts whats written in Sun and Daily Mirror....

Can't wait for the Bolton game, sure it'll be nail-biting but exciting as well nonetheless..........

Come on Chels!!

yes it's obvious he didn't compare...all he said was that he had an offer from a big european club...

btw, I just read you guys bought Bosingwa for €20mill, good luck to him, it'll be interesting to watch how he does in the EPL

Where did you read that? I haven't heard us being linked with him. From those we've been linked with, i'm hoping we sign Huntelaar and Ramos, I tink they'd fit in nicely. Kaka would be a great signing, too, and even though we weren't linked with him (although ManU has been), Lahm would, I think, make our squad much stronger next year.

(I dunno much about Bosingwa, which is why I'm not saying anything about him, but since he's a right back, and we do need a good one, I think, I'm all for it if he can adapt swiftly and play well)

Goal.com - Cech is linked with 25 quid million away from us.
- S.Ramos linked with us with a ludicrously high price
- Bosingwa is said to have signed for us, when nothing is announced
at r official website.
- Essien and Riccy linked with a move to Real.
- Drogba linked with a move to Real Madrid after Robben said
something about him.
- Silvestre saying Ballack talking Bollocks when there's no mention
of it in the article itself.
- Drogba rocks Chelsea as he agrees a move to AC Milan. roflmao

As u can see, none of those are done deals and pure speculation, the website is known to repost tabloid tales from the UK papers.....its just sad to see that people actually believe most of the tales posted there as news judging from the comments.
They link us with 6-10 players every year, they're bound to get at least one right, and for that reason alone people believe them, which is just plain stupid.
Same thing tabloids do, link 20-30 names to a club and you'll get one of them right at least.
The reason why I visit that website is to see if they can actually post real news apart from football results and interviews. Instead they humour us with fiction and speculation and most of the comments posted there by the people are just plain stupid.
If they want to speculate why not mention in the article itself that it is PURELY speculation.

Yeah, I've seen us (and every team in the Prem) linked with dozens of names.

On a different note, if you could sell and buy whomever you wanted to, who would it be?

Without changing the number of players, I'd:
-Sell Sheva (I would much rather see him have a good season with us, but he simply isn't, and I think we should get another on-form striker) + buy Huntelaar (Berbatov might also be good, but someone younger with more prospects is what I'm looking for)
- Sidwell out, and since Essien and Maks still look good at their position, Kaka in. Not that sure, though, because I'm dubious about whether he'd fit in.
-Belleti out (just because he's been rumoured and I, personally, prefer Ferreira/Essien) Lahm/Bosingwa/reliable rightback(and maybe left-back) in. That position needs to get filled, it's probably our only 'weakness' (although we're quite good there) and I've noticed that many of our goals have their attack start at the right wing.
-Perhaps sell Ben-Haim (I really wanted him to do well, but he hasn't) and buy Ramos (who can play both central and right, in fact, if we get both him and Lahm, I think we've got a nigh-perfect defence, since I'm still not that convinced about A.Cole/Bridge)

Mind you, I'd still rather see any of our current players succeed instead of bringing someone else in. Except for Lahm, I've wanted him since last year.

I think you guys will end up going after Berbatov. Huntelaar said he might stay with Ajax, because of Bergkamp and MVB, PLUS the Bulgarian is EPL ready.

You guys sure are linked with lots of speculation, but the news concerning Bosingwa are on newspaper "O Jogo" (when it appears there it's usually true), website maisfutebol - they say their source also confirms the deal and on the TV channel RTP1.

After today's last Porto match in the league this season their coach said it's not yet official, though he admits there are contacts and there is a real chance of the deal going through.

I think both clubs are just waiting for the end of the season to confirm it.

Anyway, if he does go there it's definitely an improvment over Ferreira and Belleti imo.

Why the **** do you even talk about Kaka' as if there is even the possibility of him coming to your club, you should be glad that Chelsea still doesn't look like Madrid, Real is the most repulsive club in the world with their poaching of the best players from the biggest clubs, you should be glad that Chelsea's not like that.

Taking a superstar and a symbol of some club is the worst thing in football, first you brake the hearts of the fans of the clubs who's star you're stealing.

Second he'll never feel like your's and you'll never have that feeling when he plays that he for example is Chelsea, that those colors run in his blood. And he'll never give his all to the new club, (unlike whores of players like Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo) it's the same as love if you loved once with your whole heart than you can't love someone else like that anymore.

And the third thing is expectation, for example Barcelona's fans except the same from Henry like what he played at Arsenal and won't settle for less, and players only drop from a certain point in their career so that's never going to repeat to the same extent (ok not definetly, but be realistic), but if he'd stayed at Arsenal they would appreciate him for all that he's done and understand a little drop in form due to age, he would still be a legend.

I cannot imagine players like Gerrard, Totti, Del Piero, Maldini or Raul leaving their clubs and that would be a catastrophe in my eyes, and yes i count Kaka' in with these players because Milan have found him when he was a kid, believed in him and he's shined at our club, the same i think for Messi in whom Barca have put a lot, and helped him with his growth condition when he was a kid, it's a shame for Ronaldinho though, eventhough i'm a Milan fan and he might end up here, and i think that he's one of the best talents to have ever played football, i would have still liked it more if he stayed and if Barca's fans would appreciate a man who almost single-handedly ressurected their club, it wouldn't surprise me if he's stopped working so hard because of his disappointment in how fast the people forgot what he gave to them.

He is more affordable this year but most importantly he seems destined to leave Allianz Arena after the next season. the down side is that he seems to be favoring a move to Barca instead.

relax m8, i wouldn't like it too if one of our players get linked to likes of Milan for example? Drogba? and I've seen that the Milan fans response to that is that they'll be glad to have him, like we would if we were linked with a player like Kaka, but what I don't like is when all this speculation happens during the crucial parts of a season.
We're still in the title race, in the European Cup final, and Milan have 4th spot to go for, so why not speculate at the end of the season?
The media is best known to fuel wars and turn fans of different clubs against each other, so its best to ignore all of them until it becomes real news.

cheers

Pity for you guys.....

But you have to admit that we deserved every bit of it......
And guess what.......it's not the goal difference which decided it.......

Any news on Terry?
From What I've heard, he's suffered a dislocated elbow.
And if that's the case, then the possibility of him playing in Moscow
is still open.
