Changing Goal Net Depth

Is there any way to reduce the goal net depth of a stadium while keeping loose net tension? Whenever I change it the nets are forced into tight mode

Not sure, bro. There are codes in the .exe which might help you.
I saw something like this.
SOCCERNET_TRI_TIGHT or something like that(I can't remember exactly.)
There were at least 10 codes of this sort.

I'll try to check it out, don't hold much hope though

Wasn't it possible to change the depth in game menu before? I don't know why they took it out. Having smaller net depth makes smaller stadiums look more authentic

its in the stadiums table, but editing it gives you messed up nets.

Guys all you have to do is open fifa 13 db with db master 12, look for "stadiums" and edit the net depth. The default is 229. I have made mine 231 - anything over 231 or lower than 229 gives you tight goalnets regardless of what net tension you select. You can also make the nets higher - the default is 250 I believe. I have made mine 257 and change value in net tension table to 2. Makes the goalnets look more realistic (less dead on the goalposts).

Thanks rique, it's annoying we can't have San Siro style nets though I wonder if there is some way to stop it being forced to tight net?

Exactly, you could get San Siro style nets last year before some update by EA. Once that was done the nets got tight if the value was less than 229. Maybe like the above poster said there is some code there. Then the net depth could go to 215 and the net tension be 0 and voila it would be all good.

Last year if you changed it from the default value it would get tight, But there was one setting where it diddn't

Also at 150 it looks weird because the bar at the back of the goal doesnt join up with the net

Sigh...well there is a value that used to work in fifa 12. It made perfect San Siro style nets...

Is there any chance of getting the nets from the skill games before matches into actual matches. They look so much better to me than what we end up playing with.

Have you tried a greater depth with loose tension? What value is loose tension? I know tight goalnets...

I just change it to loose in game

175 is perfect for serie a, and the bar line up behind the goal, but no loose

ohhhh...Try the values in the db...I think 0 is loose for goalnet tension. Have you tried putting it to 155 or 160? Do it incrementally and see the closes value to 170 that you are allowed and get back to me please. Thanks.
