changing avi, wav etc to VCD?

how can i change movies that i have on my computer that are avi, wav, divx to vcd or any other format that i can play in my DVD player does anyone know? can u guys help me? thanks in advance.

have you tried burning a vcd with nero? i don't know how that works tho so don't ask me
