Actually I'm inclined to go with arnau and suggest that any under performances last season and potentially this coming season areas much down to board and external factors (transfer ban etc) - I think his treble win was very good and his shift away from complete reliance on Messi a difficult and impressive thing to achieve. And I much preferred watching the football of his treble than of guardiola

60 million for a right back just a year younger than Alves? Top player though he is, seems to be very underrated so that sort of money would be too far.

Bellerin is unrealistic. He doesn't come across as Cesc in anyway and 90% were certain Cesc was going to Barca at some point.

Azpilicueta is a fan favourite and may want to stay at Chelsea but I can't say much on that tbh.

I'm surprised there isn't much interest in Fabinho from any top clubs.

I maintain that 'Lucho' is slightly overrated but the treble season was a very good achievement even though you have a great team. I just wonder how he would have done in a team that is not as good as Barcelona.

Barca declined from the 2012-2014 period, some players who helped us win the titles we enjoyed under Pep, started to decline and age (Xavi, even Alves) and some going off form like Pique and Iniesta and the rotted out system we had left relied too much on Messi. Lucho brought in fresh blood and ideas and had the balls to change the system after the Pep era.

The most important thing is that he keeps the squad together and motivated. The players respect him. It's very hard to do that at Barça.

Gareth Bale has had a much better influence on his NT that has Messi. Messi underperforms for Argentina. Admit it.
