he was doing so well. and some guys wondered why we bought Arda. Rafa will probably be out for at least 1 month and we have 0 midfielders on the bench. Sergi Roberto is a nightmare there, fuck this.

Roberto is average as fullback too, despite his great performance at San Mamés he wasnt any better than Montoya or Douglas in the other 3 games.

I disagree, Sergi had a great game at Calderon too. Average or not, still a better option than Adriano Douglas Montoya Bartra. This season in most games there was only 1 change during the game. Rafinha in, Rakitic/Iniesta out. Our squad is horrible until January and we have very tough away games until then.

Perhaps should have kept Xavi in the team until January or something. He was great coming off the bench last season when the team needed something else, added some more calmness to the midfield.

Iniesta is surely untouchable right now, he is at incrediblr level, probably his best start of a season ever. The only difference i see between Roberto and Montoya/Douglas/Adriano is that Luis Enrique trust him.

Rakitic must get his shit together and start performing too... We need him and looks like he doest give a shit since there is no one challenging his stop.

Yeah, Iniesta is playing great, I'm surprised. I'm very curious how many weeks Rafa will miss. I think a new signing in January is 100% sure. Hope it's Nolito.

And it's just that there's not much competition between players in your midfield right now. Simple as that.

I agree Nolito would be a good signing, good player in his peak, knows the club and the coach very well and on the paper he acepts the MSN patch role if he signs for us. On Rafinha, he will never be a star but he is a very important player to have in squad, can play in many positions at good level, never complains and gives everything even if he is playing only 15 minutes.

Agree about both Nolito and Rafinha. Rafa will never be a player like Iniesta but he's an awesome player to have in your squad, good and versatile and he will be really great when he peaks.

Neymar and Rakitic need to step their games up. Roma and Atletico did well defending Neymar, but he's better than this. Mathieu did well but that is never a guarantee for future games. Mascherano is not in form and Vermaelen is injured.

I thought it was good that we have the most tough away games until January because we'll be play without pressure and can make rotations when we have to concentrate on UCL but we have 0 back ups for midfield/MSN. Our away games until January: Celta, Sevilla, Getafe, Real Madrid, Valencia.

Jordi Alba's penetrations behind the defense line are just sick, too bad he can't finish those chances. Very underrated player.

A weird case is Suárez, he seems fat, awkward, imprecise and always offside but still manages to score goals, he is a bit that kind of player thought... This reminds me of Eto'o, if you analize there were like 10 #9 better than Eto'o on the paper but if you want your team to win finals and stuff you better have Samu on the squad.

Neymar did almost nothing until the last 20 minutes today and vs Atleti. Suarez is always marked as hell in these games. They are not at their best yet but will get there. Anyway, we had away games at Bilbao, Atletico and Roma. We didn't play vs Betis and Espanyol.
