Get in there!!!! Super Frank breaking the record was the icing on the cake on this game, the physicality reminded a lot of the Blackburn game in Jose's first season with us.

But job done, we really needed the points to keep Spurs out of it. The only way Spurs can pip us is if we lose to Everton and Spurs win their last two games scoring buckets of goals. Now, we need Wigan to do us a favour and help keep Arsenal out of the 3rd spot.

The only dampener was that Hazard seemed to pull his hamstring, could be a huge blow with the Europa final looming. Ramires also out for the Everton game, and JT could be finished for this season.

Very pleased that happened. Would have been terrible if Frank had not made it then not received a contract extension. The greatest goal scoring midfielder the premier league has ever seen, an icon.

I dont mind if he does not get extended now, I want him to go out on a high and to remember him as the record holder and match winner he proved that he still is, just as I wanted to remember Didier at his very very best. Of course, if Jose comes back and feels he needs his old friends influence in the dressing room, then I defer to the special one.

Doubtful that you actually feel that way. If you think that Lampard is STILL a match winner, then why would you want him to leave?

As far as remembering him as a record holder.....whether he leaves or not, that fact won't change, so there's that as far as the record holder part is concerned.

Regarding the greatest midfielder in EPL history, that alone says so much about Chelsea's inability to have a pure striker, such as Sergio Aguero or Van Persie? Drogba tailed off heavily towards his end (you're surely being excessively optimistic to think otherwise) and Torres has been suppressed dramatically since his arrival at Chelsea. Andriy Shevchencko, one of the world's best at the time, was brought in but even he was held back......all for Frank Lampard to get his goals from the center of the midfield.

He's suggesting that bad strikers were deliberately brought in, and restrained from reaching their full ability, as part of a deliberate club policy to make Lampard get all the goals.

Sometime I would love to hear newbie's theory on the Kennedy assassination.

I like Lampard as well, he's a such a professional... Scoring so much for Chelsea and what? Breaking the all time scoring record as well for Chelsea? Sry I've been away so I haven't been able to check the results.
EDIT: Just read the rest of the last 12 posts as well, congrats to him! I was absolutely confident that he'd pull that off and he did it! : )

Fans hate him alhough he's done nothing wrong. Shame. Got injured when he looked good and when we needed him, now he's a major stepvdown from what we have.

Rumours that KDB has agreed a 5-year deal with BVB. Chelsea haven't though. I hope this isn't true, but if it is, we had better be getting a lot of money or a Lewandowski or Gundogan in the deal.

Lukaku will go out on loan next season so I think we're signing a striker. Lewandowski preferably.

We had better not be thinking that buying a striker fixes our problems. We need a midfield creator, I hope somebody in the club has noticed this.
