Ha.......we have a time machine up here in Canada! It will be used to bring us one game before ANYONE ELSE GETS IT! We have the Arsenal-Juve game at 13:30 p.m. EST and the Benfica-Barcelona game at 15:30 p.m. EST. This despite the fact in the physical world (reality) BOTH GAMES START AT 14:45 p.m. EST! Somehow, we are going to get to watch the first hour and 15 odd minutes of the Arsenal-Juve game (including the 15 minute half-time show featuring Janet Carlos*son) before the rest of the world does! I CAN'T WAIT!!! This is shown in the day's schedule for today as of 09:14 a.m. EST....and today is matchday!

Arsenal-Juve LIVE(1:30pm) on TSN and TLN
Barcelona-Benfica LIVE(1:30pm) on RDS

same sh1t tomorrow with the other games :rockman:

I'm sure that the main reason for the time-shifting of the Benfica-Barcelona and Inter-Villarreal matches on ESPN2 is because the Europeans have already started daylight savings time*, which means that Champions League matches this week kick off at 1:45 PM EST, as opposed to the usual 2:45 PM EST. Don't worry, normal service will be restored in time for the second leg.

In other words, you Canadians are not warping the space-time continuum, but nice try.

*=That, and the NASDAQ-100 tennis tournament is on form 12:00 to 3:00 PM EST.

See I did not know that and just to be sure that the posted schedule was not a TYPO, I checked the official UEFA CL webpage game previews and they listed 20:45 p.m. CET as the starting time which would, in the absence of daylight saving time, have meant 14:45 p.m. EST as it has throughout the year to date.

I missed the first 20 minutes of yesterdays match (Barca-Benfica). Won't happen today. (H)

LOL espn 2 keep showing the SCORE to the Inter- VIllareal as it is in progress. BAFOONS AT ESPN!!!!!!!!! they should sell the rights in the US to someone else like FSC or GolTV. channels that actually gives a damn about soccer.


WTF why would you show the game on delay and show the score at the bottom, it defeats the whole purpose of watching the match. I swear to God this country hates futbol. Thank God for Setanta sports though I got to see Arsenal Juve and Milan Lyon LIVE!!!!! :rockman:

seriously, that ruined the whole purpose of even watching it, i just checked the net to see when the goals happen and watched the game until martins scored, then turned it off. ESPN people are ***in idiots.

btw, setanta :rockman: , i love it.

They are showing AC Milan vs. Lyon and Juventus vs. Arsenal. I'm not sure if they will be live but they are probably going to be on schedule (2:30 Eastern Time) since the time has been changed today. The reason it was off last week was because of the time change in Europe.
