Champions League Stats?

Ive just been looking at this...

A bizarre thing happens with CM 01/02, when you create a game you get different stats than you do for the base database. The main database (which contains all the players) generally gives higher numbers than the actual game.

For example Ruud Van Nistelrooy:

In game gives ISS:

Off: 17
Def: 15
Bal: 16
Stam: 18
Spd:19
Accel: 18
Pass: 14
Power: 16
Acc: 17
Jump: 18
Head: 15
Tech: 19
Dribb: 15
Curv: 16
Pos: 13
Resp: 15

From main db:

Off: 18
Def: 14
Bal: 18
Stam: 19
Spd: 19
Accel: 19
Pass: 13
Power: 19
Acc: 19
Jump: 19
Head: 19
Tech: 19
Dribb: 16
Curv: 17
Pos: 12
Resp: 19

What do people think?

Using the saved database will give a more difficult game similair to EPL, but will mean that not all players are represented exactly right please vote for your preference.

Remember this will happen for all players (Gilles De Bilde goes from Power =12, Accuracy = 14 to Power = 14, Accuracy = 15/16)

I rekin you shud use the CM stats that are used in the actual game, so it will play similar to the EPL (more challenging) :D

If you think

If you think I should use the in game db, what do you think about those players that dont appear in game but are in the main db?

Example:

Nicolas Laspalles doesnt appear in the game, but is in the database and comes into ISS as:

Off: 13
Def: 12
Bal: 13
Stam: 13
Spd:12
Accel: 14
Pass: 12
Power: 14
Acc: 12
Jump: 14
Head: 12
Tech: 13
Dribb: 12
Curv: 12
Pos: 12
Resp: 12

Now these stats are probably higher than those at which he would appear in game if he was there. Should I randomly reduce some stats (max 4 points say)? There is no connection between the two sets of stats (i.e. always -2 for speed), plus if I always reduce by two this would mean some players could never have the highest value?

hmm these players make using the original db tricky..

i'd say dont worry just use the main db , but it wud be a more challenging patch to play (like EPL) if it were using game db :D

ur system of randomly taking points away (max 4) sounds better than using the main db. Your quite experienced from doin the EPL patch so i think ull do a good job with these players.
Im sure ull reduse these players so that they are in-tune with the other players ;)

please tell me when u found out how to edit menu flags and ingame flags and menu jerseys. until then PE2 is no longer worth playing for me personally. I enjoy PES a lot and I actually dont like the thought to step back to PE2. but if there would be a champions league patch with the things I mentioned above then it would be kind of tempting to play PE2 again.
anyway, great work and I appreciate your effort a lot. if u need help especially on the german teams I offer you my help.
