Congrats Barca, deserved it. You ****s. I knew you guys were gonna win it but I kept hope, given Arsenal managed to overcome you in the first leg.
I am satisfied with our performance. If we played like that against any other team, we'd probably win. It was a better performance than Rome. If you consider our players and Barca players, then I think it was a reasonable performance. At least we did not just sit back and defend. Rooney and Hernandez were almost always ahead and we did give it a fight. Unfortunately the opponents were Barcelona. I'm proud of our team. Who would've thought we would reach the final? Some moron pundits even predicted us to take the 4th place in the EPL this season.
I'm not that disappointed TBH... Knew what was gonna be the outcome. The only thing I'm disappointed right now is that no football for more than 1 month now
EDIT: forgot to mention Messi's goal. Defense was shocking. Why the hell do you give so much space to him??? We had 3 players just staring at him there. Should've put more pressure on him. Otherwise he had a fairly quiet game though.
LOL Touche.
Futbol was the true winner of the Chapions League
What a final that was, an absolute spectacle. I would have never imagined we would demolish ManU in the way we did, this team is a phenomena.
Having 70% possesion and 22 shots with 12 on goal against Manchester United? WTF. That is crazy and the game could have been 5-1 or 6-1 easily, I think ManU was shocked at our ability, I can't remember a game where they have been hammered like that. It was an absolute massacre, one which I did not expect at all. The only other performance we have done this to a team of the stature of ManU was the 5-0 against Madrid
I thought Messi was brilliant, he carved United in two. He made a team like United look average which was incredible to watch. This kid is by far the best player on the planet, no one comes close to his level, no one would ever make a team like ManU look like he did. Xavi & Iniesta were the bosses and I doubt we will ever see a partnership like that ever again, the understanding and trust they have on each other really amazes me along with their ability to open up teams.
Congrats to all the player and the staff, they really deserved this, their work over the past few years has been superb
Also, heads up ManU and fans, I though you gave it a go and tried to play with your style and philosophy. Its rare to see a team come out and play offensive trying to take the game to us, and there is definite merit in that. I have always respected United as a club and a team, congrats on a great campaign and keep to your style, you are a great team
Visca el Barca y Visca Catalunya y Visca La Pulga!!!!
