You should copy all the new strings in the CEP db language into your own language sb.

I recomend you to open first your own language db with DBM 11 and, without sorting it, navigate to the latest record (in mine is CT_TeamName_11047 | Budějo. | 2147174220). Then open the CEP english db and, without sorting it, copy all the records you'll find under your latest record (from TeamName_120010 | KF Tirana | 833149770 to NationName_217 | Oceania | 551061082).

Maybe you should extract first the LanguageString table into a .txt file and copy paste all the records. That's what I did.

Once you have all the new records in your language db and with it opened in DBM 11, go to File -> Extract from .BIG -> Local databases. The message "Database exctracted and removed from big" should appear in the bottom. Then Tools -> Calculate All Hash and save.

no, RG, probably i didn't explain well but that's what i did...

drag and everything goes to 38 in my case (Reusch gloves)...

all in all it took about 4min.

This patch is amazing. But for me, all new leagues and teams names are wrong, they appear like *team_abbr_ and so on... will this bug be fixed in your new release ? Thanks

1. Install DBMaster 11 (found in fifa-master.com)
2. Open DBMaster 11. File ->Extract from .Big -> Main database and Local databases both.
3. Check whether you now have got a db folder and loc folder in Game/data folder in Fifa 11.
4. If you have them, check whether db folder contains fifa-ng-db.db and xml in it, and loc folder has eng-db.db (something like that) in it.
5. If you have got them, you can copy the entire CEP into your data folder overwriting the files.
6. If you do not have such folders or files, try step 2 again. You must have done wrong here.
7. Regenerate using iard68 regenerator tool

first off iard86 regenerator works on vista, make sure you use 1.6.

the answer to your issue was stated in your post by you.
you said the files were set to read only, which means cep 11 folders are set to read only.

why you would set permission to edit fifa 11 folders but not cep 11 folder is odd to me.

so once you set permission you removed fifa 11 folders to use cep 11 folders which you didnt give permissions to then preceded to copy them over putting you in the same position you just were in.

I followed both of your guys' advice. Arkpad was right because before I did the DB11 thing, there wasn't a db folder and the loc folder didn't have an eng_us.db (I think, though I'm sure about the db folder). Regularcat was also right because after I extracted the CEP files and unticked 'read-only' once again on the properties window of the FIFA 11 folder (I had to do it multiple times which I'll explain in the next paragraph), it took a long time to process. But I still ended up getting the same result! Except this time, I got a window that said FIFA 11 has stopped working properly.

There might be something wrong with the read-only thing though. Every time I untick it, it processes it for a while and it is unticked. I click OK and open it back up, but it still is ticked as 'read-only!' This happens every time, it always says it's read-only when I open up properties again. I know that it is not read-only though because I was able to extract all of the CEP files into the folder without problems (before I wasn't able to). I went to properties and the security tab and went to each "group or user name" on the list and gave them all full control (and this doesn't change, when I look at it later all of them still have full control). So I'm not sure if there's anything wrong here. Just to be sure I went and did the same thing to each individual folder in the data folder, but get the same result (it always says it's read-only, even though it acts like it isn't).

Again I'll lay out my exact steps:

Uninstalled FIFA and deleted all of the leftover files
Installed FIFA and then installed the 1.01 patch.
Unticked the read-only box in the Properties window for the FIFA 11 folder
Did the DB11 thing, creating the db folder and the eng_us.db in the loc folder
Extracted the CEP11 files into the data folder
Unticked the read-only box in the Properties window for the FIFA 11 folder once again
Ran the i68 Regenerator 1.6

But when I start it, it crashes to desktop at Iniesta screen with a window that says 'FIFA 11 has stopped working properly.'

Someone please help!

Regularcat, I really love your gameplay tweaks. Except maybe the shooting... which is ridiculously inaccurate sometimes and it seems like shots are overall to weak (in power). I have to report 2 bugs which I think are due to the gameplay tweak:

- when taking a penalty the player constantly switches from his right to his left foot (appearing and disapearing on either side of the ball every time). And sometimes he even shoots in the air like 3m beside the ball, though the ball still flows towards the goal after shooting.
- Sometimes players get booked for nothing... only seems to happen to the CPU, but they (sometimes) get a yellow card while there wasn't commited a foul...

Btw, I think the ESPN scoreboard is Darkvajo's surprise (?)

The accuracy depends on the position of the player and the angle with which the shot is executed towards the goal (e.g. you are facing 90 degree to the goal on the edge of penalty box, you just shoot it with a slight angle change, say 45 degree, you can never expect a goal, but can expect gallery).

I dont face any booking or penalty problem though

Yeah, well... that accuracy part maybe due to me wanting to score too great goals... I agree with your argumentation for positioning towards the goal.
But seriously, it feels like you don't have that much control over the shooting. Isn't it possible to return the shooting to what it was originally but keep all other aspects of the tweak? Still leaving the CPU taking a shot moreoften too?

And other thing (maybe bit offtopic): what about the career.ini? I was trying to edit it so that transfers were a bit more realistic and players would be transfered moreoften. But after editing and importing the new career.ini there are hardly made any transfers by CPU no more... so I obviously returned my backup file back in... But I found it a bit weird...

I still think those 2 bugs are due to the patch (as I encounter these problems only after installing...) and I don't see this kind of bugs happening on a db patch (which is CEP in essence) so it seems to be due to the gameplay tweak...

ill look at the penalties, if i see it i know exactly what to edit to fix it.

about subs at halftime it a stamina issue, ill upload a tweaked version soon.
it really goes best w/ my cep db & my db, but works w/ all dbs.

plus my db v2 addresses the defensive line also.
