Celtic have just signed Henri Camara on a season long loan from Wolves. The deal is a British record fee for a loan signing, somewhere around £1.5 million mark. He is the first in what Celtic say are numerous transfers they are working on.

Why didn't they just outright buy him? Anywayz I think he is a good replacement for Larsson. Camara should score a lot of goals in the SPL come next season.

Camara got crazy skill. He will own th SPL next season, but compared to the Wolves jersey I think he will look ridiculous in a Celtic kit.

Word is that the option to buy is like 5 million quid. Wolves must be rapt, he was never gonna play for them again after his petulant displays over the past 6 months..

Is Amoroso still available on a free transfer? It wasn't so long ago when Villa were interested. Hopefully we are still interested in signing him so that he can replace the shambles that is Vassell.

I remember that match, Wolves took it to Man Utd, but Camara kept missing.

I personally want to see Craig Beattie play alot for Celtic.

If Camara could finish most of his shots he'd be deadly.

So would every striker in the world :p

He came good towards the end of the season, confidence grew, and he wasn't just pace and tricks (like vassell) - His movement, passing and shooting became closer to a good striker's level.

I hope he flops at Celtic so Wolves will be lumbered with him next season (Only cause Im a Villa fan :))... From a neutral's POV, I hope he does well as he is good to watch when playing well.

I like him as a player, it's entertaining to watch him. In my view he isnt a striker and shouldnt be played as one, as he cant finish most of his chances properly. He would be better playing as an AMC or as a supporting striker to feed someone else.
