Right now I have the Motorla SLVR and I have more gripes about it than any of my other phones I've ever owned. It's really cool looking but that's about it. It's really fragile and the screen scratches easily. And dust collects under the LCD screen!! I've heard that's a warranty issue and that Motorola will trade for a refurbished one but I'm not ready to trade in a new phone for a used one just yet.
Meh, my Nokia's got 3 horizontal scratches on the main screen, don't know how they got there since the flip is always closed but oh well.
How long is the warranty contract?

The Symbian OS is a MUST have.

I dont know how I could live so much time without it. There are just so much sh*t you can put in the phone for Symbian it's crazy.

I also have a 1GB memory card filled with Mp3s in it.

Yeah I've been reading similar reviews elsewhere on the net, too bad cause the SLVR was at the top of my list. Might just opt for the Sony w300i now..

nobody owns a Samsung D600??

I'd prefer buying a nokia 3310 but father said "go get yourself a proper phone!" so I had no choice.. :$

this is the third phone I've ever owned.. Sony Ericsson T28 was my favourite to be honest.. 6610 was fair also..

the trouble with a good phone is, you can't throw the phone randomly when you get angry.. you should find some other thing to cool you down.. that's why I'd like to get a 3310..

It would be nice to have something with external memory for mp3 etc..... but honestly, there are so many better things to spend money on that I really don't feel the need to change it. Maybe when my contract expires in a year time and this one becomes ancient....

I've got a 6230i, i maintain that it isnt actually as good as the 6230 which i had last year, just seems slower. Great phone though, got a 1gb MMC in it.

my brother used to have that phone in black, let me use it for a while. great phone but it had terrible reception because it was European made and the frequencies were different from those in North America.

Do you change your numbers with every new phone you get? I have my current number since like 5 years ago, came with my first mobo.

Yeah, that's a good question. I'm moving back to TO in about a month and a half and I was wondering about the Cell service there.

I'm on PayAsYouGo with Rogers, so cant really tell you much about them... reception is best in the country, that's about all I can say. if you're going to get a plan, which I'm guessing you are, cant really help you, but most of my friends are with Rogers and they seem pretty happy
