CC caused FIFA to crash?

Anyone get this problem:

I downloaded CC and tried to use it but got bored quickly and realized i didnt want it. I saved some things to the DB and then i went to run FIFA and i got as far as Kit Selection right before the game and everything went tits up and the game crashed back into windows. so i deleted CC and the same thing happened. Anyone got any ideas other than uninstall/reinstall? I cant reinstall because I left my CD1 on an airplane a few weeks ago and british airways claims to not have it

when they return the CD back, just copy data\cmn\fifa.db and data\cmn\fe\*.db from CD#1 to the game directory

I wouldnt have complained if i had the CD. they claim they didnt find it.

The only way I can help U is download FIFA 2004 DB Editor by Hercules from here and than install it. After installing go to the folder containing the editor and go to templates/data/cmn/fifa.db. This is the file U are looking for. Simply copy it and replace the old one under FIFA/data/cmn/fifa.db with the new one. Also U'll find the eng.db under templates/data/cmn/fe. Just replace accordingly.
