Brown a couple of years back, then O'Shea and now Fletcher. You can't expect us to produce players of world class level right 90 miles of Manchester. United have no choice but to buy young players from other clubs. We produced some pretty good players like Greening, Wallwork, Webber, but obviously none of them can overtake a spot in a line-up of one of the best teams in the world, we are no Manchester City, you know. Do you think Arsenal produced Van Persie, Fabregas?

Arsenal produced Cole in recent times.
Chelsea produced Terry.
Liverpool produced Carragher and Gerrard.

Your "world class" academy hasn't produced a starter in a LONG while.

And Man City has a very good youth system. It's just that Keegan is crap and relies on veterans.

Bobby

The Legend
Bentley is also an Arsenal youth, Justin Hoyte and Stuart Taylor as well. They've all made 1st team starts, Taylor even has more medals than alot of 'star' players.

It aint gonna happen........you obviously dont know anything about the man apart from what you hear from the media.I think we will be having the last laugh for a long time to come man.......so get used to the idea and then it wont be so painful for you......:D
Trust me, Roman WILL get bored of Chelsea in a couple of years. And i don't know about"sky", but i know more about him than you.

bigp: like i said, players don't get that much of a chance at United, no matter what others say. City sucks, that's why there is lots of chance of making it there, plus they got lucky that SWP and BWP were raised by former Arsenal star, who hated United, that's why he told them to go to City.

As for saying that Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea produced those players, that's still less than United during 92 year. at that time those three teams produced no one, so you can't argue that United suck at producing players. It's the same for every team, there will be a period when one team will be producing good players and then there will be a period for the other. Nobody in england has been constantly producing world class players and nobody in the world, except Ajax.

You're wrong about SWP and BWP. Ian didn't tell them to sign for city. They were originally at Nottingham Forest but were let go so City signed BWP. SWP was just signed to accompany him. And Man U gives young players plenty of chances. That's why players like Chadwick, Wallwork, etc. played in Premier League games for Man U. You don't see that with Arsenal.

And what I'm trying to say is that everyone keeps on saying that Man U has such a great youth system but they haven't produced a starter since 92. The class of 92 is something that rarely happens but your youth system hasn't produced much since then. So I don't know why people keep raving on about a youth system that only produced quality players 13 YEARS AGO.

Don't know either. Because that is true, that we haven't produced great talents after the year of 92. It was our golden age period, which every team has.

BTW no, i didn't know anything about BWP and SWP so i will take what you said.
