How many of you FIFA 2005 players actually stick with the team you started with in your career for more than a few years. Or as soon as you get a chance you go to the big clubs. Just curious

nope i usually stay with a team for one season then move on... maybe when i eventually reach the premier league and play with a decent team (manu utd, chelsea, liverpool, or tottenham) maybe ill stay

Started with Rochdale (1 season), moved to everton (2 seasons) and bought nearly every good player in the game. Decided i needed a change from English football so i moved to Real Madrid (currently first season). I'm gonna try and play in as many different leagues as i can before my career is over.

I started off with Kidderminster (div3) and cleaned up everything (easy settings) and then I got offered a role with chelsea for my second season. I've taken that and will crank up the difficultly now to actual make it more fun.

Just a thought, but I was thinking if I ever decide to start again I'd probably pick league with less than 30 games per season... the english league + all the cups just take ages to get through.

oh yeah stayed with DC for one year went to cardiff city for a year and have been with arsenal for about 6 years now..

Second year with Lincoln city, turned them into a two star team on minimum budget and won promotion into football league one. Ive got a good relationship with the board at the moment, so Im going to stay with Lincoln for as long as Im needed so that I can live up to my promise to the fans, champions league football.

I just got the game two weeks ago! I started out with Mansfield in league 2 and got sacked after 5 games! 2 losses and three draws! Where's the patience? However, I stayed in the league and signed with Chesterfield. I've just won the title with them and beat my old club along the way! I won by 10 points and as I speak I haven't played again to see my new options. I'll go for a bigger team as these small teams are light-weight depth wise and despite upgrading financials constantly it didnt help much.

I started my career with Hearts and struggled miserably the first season getting sacked before the halfway point... decided to take over Dynamo Dresden... gained promotion by finishing 2nd in Bundesliga 2. Took them to 4th place in their 1st season in the Bundesliga. My 3rd season with Dresden we struggled in the league finishing mid-table, got knocked out ofthe German Supe Cup, got knocked out of the EFA cup in the 1st round... but I went out with glory trouncing Bayern Munich for the German Cup.

Since I wouldn't be playing in Europe the next season and feeling like I had done as much as I could with this small club I decided to head for the big time... there were some surprising big offers (like Inter Milan) but I settled for the English Prem and Newcastle. Playing at St. James park was too hard to pass up. I've got them in 2nd place behind A. Villa and we're progressing in the League Cup and ECC... I predict a good amount of silverware coming to St. James Park this season.

Something to think about though... why would Newcastle need a new manager if they qualified for the ECC the season before I got there?... Definitely something that needs to be fixed to make it a bit more realistic.

Best pre-season transfer... Shaun Wright-Phillips to Newcastle from a relegated Man City team :hump:

In my current career, I started off with the Chicago Fire and was there for 1 year, then I went to West Ham United, and I've been there for 4 seasons now, and I'm in my 6th season.

i started with ascoli stayed for 2 years won serie b and came 2nd in serie a (ac milan :kader: ) then went to leeds utd in the premier league 1st place through janurary :D

Yeah they were in the CL the previous year and went down, I think New U is walking down that path IMO.

I started off as Montpellier which is a 2nd division French side .. got rid of a few players and brought in Darius Vassell from Aston Villa .. stayed with Montpellier for 2 seasons and then went to Liverpool where I'm currently on my second season with them .. I try not to simulate at all .. that's why it's taken me such a long time to get to this stage
