Career mode teams

hey everyone i have played fifa2006 ever since it came out to australia. Ive played manager mode continuously for about 3 seasons then i get bored of using the same team.
My problem is how do i get better teams!
ive been newcastle all this time making them the best of the best and still i cant choose the likes of liverpool or real madrid.
Can anyone answer my question. Is it i havnt played long enough or do i need to get my manager stars up to 5?

you just need to buy career teams in fan shop. then u can use great teams in the next season...anyway, what is the teams u guys use for career? this is the teams i use...

1st season was weird I chose aston villa and had 6-2 -1 record. and all of a sudden I lost a game i think against biringham, and I ended up getting fired when I was currently first in the table and it wasnt even half way thru the season.. Anyway, I coudnt choose a d1 team anymore for some reason, so i picked millwall and now im going to premier league

and now in season 9 i make 6000 ish every away
8000ish every home and this is all on the ps2 no patchs either!!

hey in fan shop i cant find any teams for sales. All there is are legends, 3rd kits, balls, stadiums and celebrations.

i got arsenal in season 1 with extra players up to 30 check this out
do youll know how to do this well its simple now anyone can start with anyteam he like at the start of season 1 i am a great fan of Arsenal so i choose it

sorry but i cant seem to find the unlockables anywhere in fanshop.
Sorry to keep bringing this thread up. I go to fanshop and there seems to only have past player bios, 3rd kits, stadiums, celebrations and other balls.
Im using a ps2.
Do you have to play at least 1 season or something before the unlockable teams apear in fanshop?
PLease help.

Ok this is how u do it for the PC version u can try it out for the PS2 also
in caree mode u get the job offer from other teams based on the number of stars so in fifa06 it starts from 4 stars now to get a five star team like Arsenal...go to team management in the main menu put all the players with less overall in the starting 11 line up when its done the star rating of the team will decrease then save the game profile .and so when u go to manager mode uwill get an offer from that particular team rt from season 1(it may work for the PS2 version)

Does anyone take a lower division side and try to make them the Euro Champs? I like to take Leyton Orient FC and try to bring them up to the EPL, then make it into Europe. This year I was able to win the League Cup (FA Cup?), beating Newcastle, Cardiff (2 semi games) and Chelsea all in extra time to win that tourney. So I think as I progress to Division One I will go into a Euro tournament. That'll be pretty odd. I'm also not sure how that'll affect my budget, good or bad.

At the moment i have updated my ps2 fifa version with the transfers so far and i im trying to complete all my challenges. The best team i thought at the moment was Rushden and Diamonds. Im a huge soccer fan but i have no idea about the players and teams in a lower division then the english championships but they seem to be the best in league 2. Winning the FA cup/ or as they call it English cup and making it into the finals the team is automatically given a chance to enter europe no matter the division. I did it with R&D and beat Barca in the finals hahah.
Yeh its true about the difficulty. Fifa just isnt that hard anymore, My word class season with newcastle, undefeated 35 wins 3 draws 135 goals for 4 against ahha. If only there was a harder mode!
