I have a lot of doubts about the scout report and player growth. Can someone please help with some of these...
How do I make sense of the scout report? As in, when a scout reports back with a list of youths, I can use LB/RB to view their attributes screen. Are these attribute ranges their potential or current attributes? Why are these attributes in Green colour? Why are some of them in Black?
Next, do youth players grow while the are in your youth squad? Or is it better strategy to sign them up as soon as they're eligible?
At the end of each month, I get a message from the board saying that my youth squad report has been updated and as the youths spend more time with us, we'll know more about them. What's exactly happened here? I can't see any changes in the youth player attributes in my youth squad. If there are any changes, how are these caused? This must mean that their current/potential ability is being affected by something, right?
This is a bit off-topic but, Transfer deadline day, which I know is a new feature but still, is doing nothing for me yet. Is there something I'm missing? I'd put up Arshavin on the transfer list after he refused to sign a new contract. Despite continual rumours in the media about the "Vultures circling over Arshavin this summer", I did not get a single bid during the transfer deadline day! Is it random, or do I need to do something for it to be as exciting as people have reported it to be?
