Well my season is going good so far. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, AC Milan (ME) is in 1st place, with Inter, Juve and Roma still tailing. In the ECCGS, I just beat Barca 1-0, with Inzaghi (still good for 35) scoring. I have 1 ECCGS match to go, against Celtic FC.
Do you guys reckon I should sell the oldies eventually or let them retire with AC Milan?? I feel it is unrealistic if Carlo Ancelotti sold Inzaghi because he was 35.
With one month to go before 'Transfer Month', I need some good transfers. However, I don't want to make transfers that would be unrealistic in 'real-life'.

mixed i feel the same way about Giggs right now... he's 34 in my season, and has been playing pretty well, but I have two or three players that I feel can take his place once he retires.
i have Cassano, who I have at left striker but can play left mid, Rothen, and I was thinking about bringing Heinze to left mid and using Phil Neville at left back permanently. Neville's played amazing for me this season and is on 8.3 form. Heinze it at 8.7.

Manchester United Update: (Season 4) (Year One of Man U)
MUFC is in 2nd place in the EPL 4 points behind Newcastle, who have played one more match. Right on the 29th of January, Rangers contacted me with a transfer that I really couldn't refuse. Around 20000 for Kakhaber Siredza, a 20 year old striker who is rated 72. He made the bench in the first match, which was against the leaders Newcastle. The game was breathtaking, with both keepers standing on their heads to keep the clean sheet. In the 75th minute, Wayne Rooney was tackled hard and picked up an injury, so on came Siredza. In the 86th minute, he picks up a nice through ball from Cristiano Ronaldo, puts on a nice stepover, pushes the ball out in front, and rushes behind the defender to pick up the loose ball. Shay Given charges out to about the 6, while Siredza is at the 12. He fakes a shot, and Given goes down. Siredza then proceeds to play a nice little chip into the back of the net to bring the game to 1-0. What a way to start off your Old Trafford career!
The next game was against my old team, Cheltenham Town, and was a game where I played Siredza, Rooney, and Cassano up front from right to left. The two youngest players on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kakhaber Siredza stole the show in a game where MUFC played many players who don't see much action. Ronaldo started things off in the 10th minute by coming down the flank, beating his marker and another defender, and coming in alone with Higgs advancing. As cheeky as ever, he didn't even shoot, but rather did a nifty move and walked around the keeper and into the back of the net. After regaining possession, Ronaldo was at it again running down the field fooling all who tried to stop him. Later, Siredza was brought down in the box, and converted the penalty. 2-0. Second half fireworks brought another goal from both Ronaldo and Siredza, plus one from Rooney on a brilliant strike from about 30 yards.

I bought Maxi lopez and he scored a hattrick versus Roma in his very first game. I beat ac milan 3-1 to move into first place then my uinbeaten record ws on the line versus juventus the score was 1-1 when i decided to watch tv ,however i left my ps2 on without pausing fifa and i lost 2-1 i am soooooooo pissed
Here are the transfers I hope to make -- I want to sell Drouin (CAM - 61) and Zambrotta (RB - 63) and hopefully buy the replacement of a top defender. Also, in case I do sell Inzaghi, I will need another substitue forward, hopefully the replacement of Pavel Nedved (Johana).
I have finished the ECCGS in top place, and go through to the next round. I have suffered my first Serie A defeat at the hands of Brescia, losing 1-0. Now I have Triestina in the 1st leg of the 3rd Round of the Coppa Nazionale.
Beat Triestina with an aggregate of 3-0 to go to the quaters against Juve.
