Career Mode 2005 Thread

I'm in my 3rd carreer currently:

1st year: Dundee FC. 5th in the championship, but won the Scottish FA Cup! I've beaten Rangers in the QF, Celtic in the semis, and won the final on penalties against Hearts (2-2, 6-5 pens.)

2nd year: moved to Nottingham Forest. I try to bring past glory back :). I sold a bunch of bench-warmers, bought Fotheringham from my old team Dundee (CM, quite good IMO, he knows how to score and defend as well), Einarsson (Lilleström), Kenton (Soton) and Tore Andre Flo (Siena).

So far 5-0-1:

- Cardiff 3-0 (home). Flo started off with 2 beautiful headers in the first ten minutes, easy match. Goals: Flo (2), King

- Wigan 4-2 (away). The last 3 minutes of the first half were quite crazy with three goals. Scorers: D. Johnson, Einarsson, Reid, Fotheringham (pen.)

- Gillingham 1-2 (home). There's no justice in football for sure! I had all the possession but got burnt on the breakaways twice. Goal: D. Johnson

- Ipswich 2-1 (away). Refereeing was quite strict with three penalties (one for them, two for me, all scored), I turned the match from 0-1. Goals: Fotheringham (2, pens.)

- Stoke 3-2 (away). I was hopeless in the first half, outplayed and ruined (0-2). Then Taylor came in, scored twice, and Flo headed the winner in injury time.

- Blackburn 3-2 (home). Same story. Stead scored twice (0-2), Taylor came off the bench and scored, Flo equalised, in the 84th min. Fotheringham scored the winner :)

Hey I just started career mode, I actually completed my first season in the MLS with NE revolutions, I won the league and cup, but the board was only 80% happy :kader: , what do I have to do to make them really happy, I thought winning the cup and league would make them 100% happy.

Well it's more confidence tahn happiness, and getting them to rely on you too 100% isn´t easy and it shouldn´t be how many managers get trusted to 100 procent? :p

I finished my 3rd season with Norwich. I won the League Cup, FA Cup, Champions League and the EPL. After the season, I sold Diarra (CDM), Doherty (CB) and Ekelund (RB). I used my extra money to buy Hitzelsperger (CDM) from Aston Villa, Heitinga (CB) from Ajax and de Jong (RB) from Ajax. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I also bought Anthony LeTallec from Saint Etienne after I sold Damien Francis.

Hopefully at the end of this season, I'll be able to buy DeMarcus Beasley from PSV or some other left midfielder.
