Career Mode 2005 Thread

I'm in October 2013 right now and with Chelsea FC for the second season. Via Utrecht, Villarreal, Newcastle, AC Milan, Bayern Munich I ended up here at Stamford Bridge. Lampard just quit when I arrived, that was a bummer... Last season (World Class) won the Premiership, League Cup, Champions League. Arsenal kicked me out of the FA Cup with a 3-0 beating at Highbury. My formation:

Russo is follow up of Cannavaro i think... Richarlyson of R. Carlos. Suriano = Makelele. Bernardi was already here when i came in. On the bench we have Iachtchouk (Shevchenko) and some more classy players. We had a tough start this season, i'm in 6th position in the league right now. Won all the matches in Europe and for the League Cup however.

Well, I've got an update. It's a bit of a tragic one. :( I began a tournament and was done with it. So I went in to delete it, and after I deleted it, I thought that I was on the load menu, but I was still on the delete menu. I thought I was loading my Arsenal career (I was in my 5th season), and I accidentally deleted my career! Oops! lol. So I started a new one with Celtic.

I felt ripped off, so I simulated the entire season with Celtic, and won every game. I won the Scottish Cup as well. Then I went to Norwich.

I sold quite a few of their players and brought in some players that I like. I have played one season with Norwich and am now in my 2nd season with them, 3rd overall.

Here is a list of the players that I bought:

Jloyd Samuel (Aston Villa), Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham), Nicky Hunt (Bolton), James Milner (Newcastle), Stuart Downing (Middlesbrough), Johan Vonlanthen (PSV Eindhoven), Juanfran (Real Madrid), Aliou Diarra (Lens)

I still need a backup left winger, and hopefully I'll find a good one in the transfer window if I have enought money. If not, I'll get one at the beginning of next season. I think I'm going to buy Peter Whittingham from Aston Villa or Matthew Etherington from West Ham, but I'm not sure, if I find someone better, than I'll weigh my options.

I play 4-3-1-2, Attacking, Possession, Pressing. It is perfect for my style of play.

I just got a break from work and I celebrated by simulating a whole season with Celtic...I won the league and cup...I also created my own player called Fernando Gaspar...

I have now signed my second season with Celtic, after receiving offers that were hardly worth considering...

I know the scottish competition is so boring, but it is a league where I can easily gain points...

This season, I am able to participate in the ECC with a two-legged qualifier against FC Basel from Switzerland...

I haven't made any transfers since last season, which consisted of selling as many reserves as possible and buying one cheap player to keep the number of outfield players at 19, so when I move to Barcelona or AC Milan, then I will have an opportunity to bring my created player over from Celtic to the new club...

I'm so desperate to play FIFA 2005, I have been playing at 4.00 a.m. before I go to work...:)

So I have just played three league matches and won all of them (it was harder as I switched from Amateur to Professional, I big jump!!)...I drew my first leg against FC Basel 1-1...

Just finished me 3rd season it was with FC Barca won the uefa cup against newcastle 4-2 and won the League and beat real Madrid in the final of the copa del rey 4-3 it was deadlocked at 3-3 and it went to extrra and giuly scored in extra lol i was cheerin cos i got 10000 points for winning uefa ! :) i signed on with Barca and now its 4th season and gotta play bremen in ESC. i started my third season now a 2 star manager i wanted to go to united but i didn't get a calling, so i went to my next favorite club, juve. we are first place in serie a with roma and ac milan close on our tail, we went throught the group stage of the champions league with no problem coming in first in the group with real madrid second, now we face arsenal when the cl starts up again in 2008. i only plan to spend one season in serie a and return to england, hopefully to united where my heart lays.
