Coupet is a lot better. Barthez was cool though at man utd, I always remember vs west ham he stood on his line calling for offside as the west ham player passed it in. Lets all do the barthez (8) :ewan:

Yeah, I think the game against Netherlands when a long ball from Sneijder hit the ground, bounced over Barthez and got over the left top corner (or even hit the bar, I don't really remember). It was before Euro 2004 I think.

If you ask me Coupet should be 1st choice, hes been near bionic for Lyon for the past 5 years. Remember that double save against Barca in the CL? He headed it onto the bar and then saved a header a second later. Pure brilliance

I also think Ulrich Ramé should be second choice for France, hes been great for Bordeaux for a few seasons.

Coupet's great, although he didn't have a good showing of himself against Rennes. He looked clueless on 3 of the goals.
