Has anyone thought of the idea of creating a program that could allow you to change team styles or even formations on the fly while in-game in fifa 10 pc? similar things have been done for other pc games. (this was even a feature in FIFA 07 with the in-game tactics options on the gamepad d-pad)
it would work very simply. when a player is playing a game of fifa 10 pc using a gamepad, that player could open up this program that assigns team styles options to keyboard keys. while using your gamepad normally, this program would allow you to turn, for example, zonal defense on or off with a keyboard key without having to access the pause menu and select team management > team styles. this would be great in longer matches, that sometimes require many times to pause the game and interrupt the continuous action.
the options could consist of in-game keyboard shortcuts that would toggle on or off all 14 team styles options for your team. if you pressed "a" on the keyboard, you would toggle "counter attack" on or off, if you pressed "s" on your keyboard, you would toggle "wing play" on or off, etc. all without having to access the pause menu and stopping the game.
then perhaps two additional keyboard keys that would scroll through the various formations during the match could be added. perhaps the number keys 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 on the keyboard could queue a substitution in-game, with the numbers 1-7 being each potential substitute on the bench. This would make the game more continuous, to be able to access the team management settings in-game without pausing it.
I think this is something that could be possible, as changing the team styles options on or off during a match can probably be seen in hex code. Anyone interested in trying to develop this?
