Can I change shirt lettering & numbering in Master League

I was wondering why I can't see the changes I make with Waterloo Colour Editor when playing in Master League.
I'm trying to change colours + style but while the changes apply when playing an exhibition match or when starting a new master league,nothing happens int the saved master league.Maybe the fact that I'm mid-season and team editing is not allowed?Will I see the changes when the season I'm playing ends?
Any ideas anybody? :rolleyes:
