Jesus guys you really gotta calm down. Just because EA told you what they wanted to put somthing different into the game, and they didn't get a chance to, you shouldn't just start shooting them. You guys haven't even played the game yet so take a chill pill and wait. Just because someone says there's not going to be different weather (which i aagree would be very nice) , that dosen't dive you the right to start raving on about "uuhhhh EA are crap" "we hate EA but i'll still gladly pay them for there products". IF you don't like the game don't buy it but just SHUT THE HELL UP!

To tell you the truth, i think the same about it.

The weather would have been a very great part of thegame, sadly it will not be there. But is not the end of the world. Ill be glad with a good gameplay. Someone will say that weather is part of the game, and it truwly is, but well, i can live without it.

Iv'e had my say on this in other posts and people know what I think, but for the guy that started this post I will say this and it says it all about EA .

EA's Maddens 2004 ... 100% deatils options the lot "All Working" ( weather included ).

EA's FIFA 2004 NO WEATHER.

Same company except with a priority focused on Maddens. Same time frame, each year a new Maddens and FIFA appear. But while the Maddens team get all the parts in AND working within the time frame, the FIFA team can't. Either the FIFA team is not top drawer or it is not big enough to bring a game online with all parts working within 12 months.

As i have said before, if football was americas No1 sport then the FIFA series would be released , on time , with every little detail from gameplay to weather included and working 100%. Alas AMFootball is there No1 sport hence Maddens is always EA's top priority and they would never do to the american public what they have done to us over the years and again this year.

What EA promise to there Maddens fans they get!

What EA promise to there FIFA fans we don't get!

The best madden game that I'VE played is madden 2002 on Xbox, everything was there: coaches, sideline players moved, weather, special accessories, excellent gameplay and not to forget it was always fun. Just practice mode neede a few more things. Then I got madden on computer, cuz I rented madden on rented xbox. It sucked on computer, though there was good gameplay, weather and atmosphere. Just so many things were missing. So I didn't by another EA game ever since.

stop comparing madden to fifa... madden has had the same engine and gameplay for at least 3 years.. and since they dont change much about gameplay they have plenty of time for other things... fifa still has to get the basic stuff right..

you forgot to add that american football and football are 2 totally different sports. IMO american football is alot easier to recreate on cpu games, as it has set plays for each play, whilst football is in motion non stop.

ehm for me personally i dont care about weather. I always change the options for weather to "always sunny". I hate to play in rains, it drops my frame rate on pc.
I would like the weather if it was dynamic and if really affects gameplay. So I understand ea to leave it out this year. Next year they can come with a good and bugless weather system.

No matter what... I just can't wait to buy FIFA 2004. Afterall, there isn't any soccer game better than this. Well except Winning Eleven 7.

ea makes the best sports game offline but i really hope fifa can be the first really good online ea title...i've been waiting a long time for fifa to be online and nothing they take out of the game or put into it is going to bother me as long as there aren't any online glitches
