Calling up dual citizenship players

Hello,

Is it possible to call up a Argentinan player into the german national team if he becomes a german citizen and does not play any games for the Argentinian A-Team? How does FM 2005 handle this? I was thinking of signing a player into a league with 2 yr nationalization and then calling them up for that national team.

I think it depends on if the player has declared themselves for the Argentina national team or not... there isnt a way to find out except to try calling them up to the German National team.

Give it a try... thats part of the fun... finding out these things

Hmm FM 2005?? im not too sure you can do it in there but in 2006 thats how i did it, i got Gambino and Taddei to play for Italy. Just wait for their citizen of whatever country than call them up for the NT.

It should work for FM 05. I called up Kieran Richardson to the Irish squad.
