i have an item i'd like to buy from ebay, but before i do so i'd like to ask some questions:

firstly i have an account with Ebay and paypal.

Can i retract a bid?
Is it safe?Will i get ****ed over?
Is Paypal safe? Will they **** me over?
When i pay for an item and shipping do I have to include the taxes?

Personally I have never had any problems using Paypal on E-Bay.

Depends on where you live.

I won't buy anything on Ebay anymore unless it's paypal. I think it's the safest way you can pay for things. I've only ever been screwed once on ebay (paid and never got the item) and I paid with a money order...the seller had a good rep, 100% great feedback, but I never received the item and he stopped answering my emails.

I have bought a brazil away top about 3 weeks ago and the item has not arrived, the seller hasn't replied to any of my emails and I payed with paypal. The seller has the "standard protection paypal" thing on him so does that mean I can get my money back?????

I have had only good expereinces with EBAY and PAYPAL. 2 weeks ago I bought a Croatia away jersey for $10. I thought it would be a total fake , when it arrived, it was an authentic NIKE jersey. I still can't believe it
The exact same jersey is on sale for $110 at a couple footbal stores near my house.

contact ebay and it could take a lot of time (my problem was resolved in 3 months) but eventually they'll give you the money back or try to help you get the thing

PayPal is okay, but I don't like them. They usually cut off people's accounts if they post something on their website that PayPal doesn't like... like the beheading video, etc.
